An Advent of Gratitude

I saw this the other day, probably on FB, and thought it was a good idea.

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings

  1. Hi Sunny, :) Happy December to you and Ray! I think that this advent calendar is a lovely idea. Not only does it have one putting aside some money each day for a charity, but as we read though the list, we are reminded of how lucky we are. There is a lot to be thankful for. Thanks for sharing! Many hugs,

  3. HI Sunny, what a great idea. I liked the spanking one on Dev's blog this morning ;). This is such a lovely idea, I might make one for the kids with nice things to do, both for them and each other. You have inspired me!

  8. Lovely advent calendar indeed. I think I shall save it on my desktop and remind myself each day of all the things i have to be grateful for.

  9. That's so interesting, and an eye-opener on what we take for granted but many people don't have.

There were a few days that I would not have had to pay anything.

    Hugs,

  10. One big reply to all - I thought it was a great idea too and a good way to realize just how lucky we really are. Our blessings have a tendency to get lost in this season of rush, rush, rush and this is a god reminder. So far, I'm up to $5.50 and it's only the beginning of the third day.

  11. Good reminder - not god but maybe that's a freudian slip.

  12. We are away on a short trip right now. I think I will count that as a blessing, too. This is a lovely idea, Sunny. Thanks for sharing it.

I would add, if you have a Christmas tree, add $1. If there are presents under it, add 25 cents for each one.

    Love,
    Ella
