Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween All!!! I tried writing a spooky story but I guess I just don't have it in me.  Here's my lame attempt.

Bill and Wendy Rogers decided to get away for the weekend.  They rented a cabin in the mountains hoping to be able to see the last of the fall foliage before the cold weather set in. They hemmed and hawed about going that weekend because it meant missing an annual Halloween Party thrown by the friends, but they decided to forgo the party in lieu of a nice relaxing weekend away.

They both left work early on Friday, packed the car and hit the road.  About halfway up the mountain, they stopped for dinner.  Their server was chatty, and the fact there weren’t many customers meant she had time to spend.  She asked where they were headed, and so they told her they’d rented a cabin in Morehead Park.

“Oh,” she said.  Her tone indicated she had more to say but didn’t.  The Rogers’ didn’t think any more about it.  They paid for their dinner and hit the road anxious to get to the cabin and start their weekend.

The drive took about another 45 minutes to an hour when they saw a sign stating that Morehead Park was on the right.  They turned and were soon on a dirt road.  Thinking there had to be a mistake, they checked their GPS only to find it had gone ‘rogue’ on them.  According to the GPS, they were nowhere.  Bill kept driving and eventually came upon another sign for Cabins – Dead Ahead.

“What a strange sign,” he mentioned to Wendy.  He followed the sign and pulled into a circular drive with five cabins around the circle.  Wendy checked their reservation and saw they were in the middle cabin.  None of the other cabins looked occupied, and they congratulated themselves on their luck of getting the largest cabin and being the first there to get the prime parking spot.

Bill unlocked the door and walked into the living room with a large fireplace taking up the majority of the room.  The minute he walked in, the fireplace came alive. ‘Nice touch,’  he thought. It didn’t bother him because he figured it was a gas fireplace that automatically turned on when the door opened.  He went out to help Nancy with the bags and groceries.

They unloaded the groceries,  unpacked and decided to take a walk before settling in for the night. They donned warmer clothes and walked out into the crisp mountain air that was redolent with the scent of pine.  Inhaling the cold air into their lungs, they giggled when they expelled their frosty breath.  Without the city lights, night was black as midnight.  It was the night of the new moon, and the only lights were the thousands of stars above. There was a slight breeze, and you could hear the death rattle of leaves still clinging to the branches.  The leaves that already carpeted the forest floor crunched under their footsteps.  They walked in silence, enjoying the peace and silence when the sound of a far off wolf shattered their serenity, and Bill suggested they had back toward the cabin.

They were almost to the cabin when they heard voices.

“I guess we’re not going to be the only ones here this weekend, after all,” Wendy said.

As they got closer, theirs was the only lighted cabin and their car was the only one around.

“That’s strange. I could have sworn I heard people talking.”

“I did too Bill.  Maybe they didn’t like the looks of things and took off.”

“Wouldn’t we have heard the car engine?”

“I would think so.  Honey, you get in the car while I check out the house.  Lock the doors, you can’t be too careful.”

He took his keys out of his pocket, clicked and unlocked the car door.  Wendy got in and watched Bill go into the cabin.  She had a creepy feeling and pulled her can of mace out of the glove box while she waited to get the all clear from Bill.

She waited and waited, but Bill still hadn’t returned when she decided to see what was keeping him.  She grabbed her can of mace and headed for the cabin.  She opened the door and called to Bill.  No response.  She called out again and then checked the rooms – Bill was nowhere to be found. That creepy feeling returned. ‘Where the hell was he, he hadn’t come back out, so he had to be in here.’

“Bill, I’m getting scared now, where the hell are you?”

She pulled out her cellphone, but there were no bars.  Now she was really scared.  She went to the kitchen to get a knife.  She had just pulled it out of the drawer when she sensed someone was behind her. “Just what do you think you’re going to do with the knife?” the voice behind her said. Frightened out of her wits, the knife fell to the floor. It was then she heard “Didn’t I tell you to wait in the car?”

Wendy turned around into Bill’s waiting arms.  “I was frightened, why didn’t you answer me when I called?”

“Why didn’t you wait in the car?”

“You didn’t come, and I was worried. Where did you go?”

“It was the strangest thing.  I came in and checked all the rooms – everything was fine, but I heard a scraping noise and checked the closet – only it isn’t a closet.  It’s a door to the basement.  I used my phone’s flashlight and went down the stairs.  When I reached the bottom, my flashlight went out and wouldn’t go back on. I tried going back up the stairs, but it was as if they were gone.   I couldn’t find them.  I could hear you calling,  I called out to you, but no sound came out. Once my eyes adjusted to the blackness, I moved around the room and found the stairs right where I thought they should be.  I swore they weren’t there.  It must have been my eyes playing tricks on me in the dark.”

Wendy felt cold shivers down her spine.  “Well you are not leaving my side again and we sure as hell aren’t going down in that basement until daylight.”

They got ready for bed, and once in bed, Wendy snuggled up close to Bill.  She needed to feel the warmth and strength of his body, the incident had left her rattled.  “Hold me tight,” she told him.

He chuckled. “I’ll hold you tight, but I should spank you for disobeying me.  You didn’t stay in the car.” He told her as he settled under the covers.

“I was worried about you.”

“And what exactly were you going to do if there had been someone other than me in here.  At least if you’d been in the car, you could have gone for help.”

“I didn’t think about that, only you.”

He crushed her to him and swatted her bottom playfully. “Next time do what I say, okay.”

Considering the earlier events, they slept peacefully and woke up the next morning, bright and ready to enjoy the day.  The first thing Bill did was check the basement door.  He couldn’t open the door – it appeared to be locked even though there was no lock present.  Bill shook his head, convinced it was just stuck and decided to try again after breakfast.  When Wendy said she wanted to see the basement, he told her later because he didn’t want her going on one of her investigative rants, she could be like a dog with a bone.

They spent the rest of the morning outdoors enjoying the scenery.  In their long walk around the lake, they didn’t once see another living soul.  Almost back to the cabin, Wendy took a detour.

“Where are you going?” Bill asked.

“Just over here.  I saw something.”

“What?”

“I’m not sure, but I thought I saw someone walking over there among the trees.”

“If you did, they probably saw us and if they wanted to talk they would have called out.  Leave them be.”  Wendy just kept walking away from Bill.  He loved his wife’s independent streak but damn she could be stubborn.  He stepped up his pace to catch up with her, caught her and delivered a couple of hard swats to her bottom.  “Listen to me.”  He took her hand and walked her back to the cabin.  As they approached, there was music playing.

“Did you leave the radio on?” she asked.

“There is no radio.”

“Then where’s the music coming from.  It doesn’t look as if anyone else has checked in?”

“It could be a skip.  Sometimes, in this kind of terrain, sounds carry and echo a long way.  Or there could be a campground down in the area that we haven’t seen.”

The words appeased Wendy, but Bill wasn’t convinced.  There was something strange going on, but he didn’t want to alarm Wendy.

While Wendy went about fixing lunch, Bill wanted to investigate the basement’s locked door.  He went to the door and the knob easily turned in his hand. The swung the door open.  ‘It must have been stuck earlier,' he said to himself.  He walked down the stairs and looked around. Nothing but some rusty old outdoor furniture, and garden tools hanging on the walls. Convinced he was just disoriented the previous night, he started back up the stairs.  He just reached the third step, when he noticed Wendy's scarf hooked on a nail across the room.

‘What kind of game is she playing?  I guess she decided she wanted to celebrate Halloween after all. Well, I’ll play along and then when she thinks she won, I’ll do a prank of my own.’

He took the scarf and brought it upstairs with him and placed it with her coat on the peg.

“Lunch is ready,’ she called.  When lunch was over, he suggested they have some bedroom fun. Wendy was game.

Once the kitchen was straightened, Bill hiked Wendy up over his shoulder, firemen style, and carried her to the bedroom.  They had always enjoyed a vigorous sex life, and each was eager to please the other.  Wendy especially enjoyed getting her bottom spanked, it sparked her libido, and multiple orgasms were not unusual.  Bill was only too happy to oblige.  He loved to watch her lily white ass turn to a blushing pink and this day was no exception. Except today as he began to warm her ass, he remembered how she had misbehaved the previous night and earlier that day, and the smacks were a little harder than usual.

Wendy called him on the intensity of his spanking, and he said she deserved it for being naughty.

“Naughty huh, I’ll show you naughty,” She giggled as she raised her leg and kicked Bill square in the chin.

“Oh, so that’s the way it’s doing to be, huh,” Bill told her, rubbing his chin.  He scissored his leg over hers, and the next flurry of whacks were harder than before and delivered one after another, first on one cheek and then on the other. He was in the midst of raising his arm again when it felt as if someone grabbed his arm and held it back in a death-like grip.  He tried moving his arm but couldn't.

“C’mon Bill, don’t stop know.” Wendy told him, “I’m almost there.”

“I can’t move my arm,” Bill said.

“What?”

“Someone or something has my arm and is holding it back.”  Wendy turned her head around as far as she could and couldn’t see anyone.  “Bill, there’s no one holding your arm back, put it down.”

He tried, but couldn’t move it. “I can’t.”  Wendy rolled off his lap and stood up.  She reached for his arm and pulled it down – as easy as pie.  She smacked his shoulder as she told him he wasn’t funny.

“I swear to you, honey.  I couldn’t move my arm.” Wendy pushed Bill down on the bed and climbed on top.  She began to roll over when she saw someone staring at them through the window.  She quickly grabbed the blanket and covered them.

“Bill, there’s someone out there staring in at us.”  Bill turned to look but didn’t see anyone. When Wendy looked back, whoever was there was gone.

“I’m going to go check it out.  You stay here, do you hear me?”

“Yes, but be careful.”

Bill cautiously walked outside,  inspecting the perimeter of the cabin and saw no footprints or anything disturbed indicating there had been someone out there.  He especially looked around the bedroom window.  He went back inside and gave his report to Wendy.

“Bill, I know what I saw.”

“Well, honey, there’s no one out there now.”

Bill pulled down the shades and was about to hop back into bed to take up where they left off when they heard the toilet flush.  They both jumped up.  Bill ran to the bathroom.  There was no one there, but the shower was running, and he saw the shower curtain flutter.  He yanked it back, but there was no one there, either.

‘That’s it.', he said to himself and went back to the bedroom.

“Pack up Wendy, we’re getting out of here?”

“Who’s here?”

“I don’t know, but it’s no one we know.  Hurry and pack up.” As soon as the bags were packed, Bill hustled them out the door and into the car.  “Oh, wait.  I didn’t empty the fridge.” Wendy said.

“The hell with it, let them have whatever’s in there.”

“Whose they.”

“I don’t know, and I don’t want to know.  I only know I want to get away from here.”

He started the car and quickly drove down the dirt road. As he drove, he heard, “Good By. We thought you’d never leave.  Don’t come back again.” He looked over at Wendy.  It clearly wasn’t her who had spoken.  Bill shivered.

“I guess we better stop at the store to get some candy to hand out to the trick or treaters."

“Yeah,” Wendy answered.  “I don’t want any tricks,”   Bill said he felt the same.  In his mind, they’d had enough tricks for one Halloween.

How about you - do you have enough candy for the trick or treaters?  We don't get any here but I used to love to see all the little kiddies dressed in their costumers.  Happy Halloween Everyone and I'll see you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

Closing the Deal

Greetings Folks - how are things in your world?  Busy here doing Lord know what, but the time slips away.  Wow, I had something I was going to share with you all and it has completely flown the coop.  Oh well, if it comes back, I'll add it before this goes to post.  If not, perhaps some other time as the story says.  Another week and another story - I surprise myself. Enjoy the story and I'll talk to you later.

Janice Rourke worked for her family’s company.   She wasn’t given a job – she had to earn it just like anyone else.  By twenty-nine she had worked her way up to become a department manager. Although she was happy for the additional responsibility and the pay raise, the best part was was that she no longer worked for Dennis Hatcher.

Dennis Hatcher had to be the sexiest man alive – at least according to her.  She drooled and swooned over him the entire time she worked in his department.  His aloofness combined with his smokin’ hot looks made him the most sought-after male in the company.  He kept his sexual encounters close to the vest though, and there was never a hint of any camaraderie among the other ladies within Rourke Enterprises.  Janice wanted that to change, and now that she was out of his department and on equal footing, she was going to go for it.

Little did she know that Dennis Hatcher felt the same about her.  When she worked in his department, he kept his distance and bided his time.  He knew, that even though she was a Rourke, she would eventually be promoted on her own merit.  He could wait.  When it finally happened, he staked his claim.

The annual staff party, celebrating the end of the fiscal year, took place three days after Janice received her promotion.  After several glasses of wine, Janice made her move.  She managed to get Dennis to herself and with bravado fortified with Pinot Grigio, she made her move.  Janice invited him to join her for dinner when the party broke up.

“Why wait?” he responded.

“It’s the polite thing to do.”

“The hell with polite.  When a beautiful woman asks me on a date, I say why wait.”

“Okay, let me just my goodbye’s.”  He watched her walk toward her group.  He loved the sway of her hips and that sweet little tush cried out to him.  He knew it was sexist, but damn she was hot.

When she finally came to him, he placed his hand on the small of her back and felt her body react to the move as he guided her out of the party and to his car.  She started giving him directions to the restaurant she had in mind, but he drove in the exact opposite direction.

“You’re going the wrong way.  Micho’s is that way.”

“We’re not going to Micho’s.”

“I had Micho’s in mind when I invited you to dinner.”

“Some other time, perhaps.  Tonight we’re going somewhere else.”

“Don’t I get a say?”

“Some other time, perhaps.”

“Are you always this bossy?  I know that’s how you operate in the office, but you seem to be that way in your personal life too.  At least, that’s what I’ve noticed.”

“Do you like it?”

Her lack of response answered his question.  “So Miss Rourke, what do you like to do in your spare time?”

“I don’t have much. I’m usually working.”

“So you don’t date much?”

“No.” He loved hearing that answer.

“And why is that?”

“Like I said, I’m usually working, and I don’t believe in fraternizing where I work.”

“Yet here  you are out with me.”

“Yes, well, it’s different.  I don’t work for you anymore.  Even now I’m hesitant because what happens if things don’t go well between us.  We still have to work together.”

“First, this is a date, not a marriage proposal.  Second, I’m at greater risk than you, after all, you’re a Rourke.”

“Yes, I am.  However, I had to earn my job and promotion the same way you did.  In my family, you have to pull your own weight, and just because I’m a Rourke doesn’t entitle me to any special privileges.”

They ended up at a small French restaurant that couldn’t have more than twenty tables in the whole place.  The hostess greeted him by name and led them to a secluded table.  What seemed like seconds later, they were given a glass of wine and a crudites plate with olives, marinated mushrooms and some crusted bread.

“They seem to know you here so obviously you come here often.”

“Often enough.”

“You know, telling me a little about yourself would be nice.  You don’t have to divulge deep dark secrets, but a few little hints would be okay.”  He smiled then.

“Yes, I’ve been here a time or two.  I like it, the food is good, and I can always get a table.”

“That’s it, that’s all I’m going to get.”  That earned her not only a small but a small chuckle.

“So why don’t you tell me what you’ve heard.  I know the office gossip, so tell me and I’ll either confirm to deny.”

‘Okay. You’re a hunk, like me you don’t sleep where you eat, but any other lady of a certain age has either been fucked by you or wants to be fucked by you.”

That earned her a hearty laugh.

Their wine glasses never emptied and between the wine she had at the party and now, Janice was feeling bold.”

“So,  I’m guessing I’m not getting fucked.”

“Such naughty language from such a beautiful mouth.”

The waiter arrived and set down plates of food.  “I don’t recall ordering,” Janice said.

“You didn’t.  I always order for my dinner partner and here I always choose whatever dish Jean-Pierre is offering.”

“As I said earlier, bossy.”  Janice picked up her fork and sampled the food before her.  It was heavenly.  Dennis watched her face as the tastes mingled on her tongue.  She practically caressed the fork as it delivered another tender morsel into her mouth.  He was becoming aroused watching her savor the food.  He wondered what it would be like to kiss that mouth, better yet to fill that mouth with other things.  He twitched and arranged himself more comfortably in the booth.

By the time dinner and dessert were over, Janice was both anxious and hesitant to leave the restaurant.

“So what’s next Ms. Rourke?” Dennis asked as he escorted her to his car.

“It’s such a lovely night, why not go for a stroll down by the river?”

“Fine by me.  We’re still going to have to end this night sometime, though.  Either at your place or mine. Are you thinking about what’s going to happen then?”  He placed his hand on the small of her back as hot waves of emotion raced down her spine and into her core.

“It will be my place,”

“Is that an invitation?”

“You have to take me home that is unless you plan on putting me in a cab.”

“You didn’t answer my question?”

“Oh, I thought I did.”  He smiled.  “Sarcasm, I’m getting sarcasm.”

“Boy, not much gets past you, does it, Mr. Hatcher?”

“If we knew each other a little better, I might have to take measures to curb that sassiness.”

“Really, and what would you do?”

"Kiss you until you fainted away."  She laughed aloud.

They strolled the riverwalk and came to rest on a bench as the moon rose over the river. She began to feel the chill of the evening and Dennis put his arm around her shoulder and gathered her close to him.  They sat there in silence until she turned to him and gently kissed his lips.  His hand gripped her hair, tilting back her neck and his mouth returned the kiss.  The slight tug on her scalp ramped up her heat and with the kiss, she felt a dampening in her panties. She loved it and met his demanding kisses with more of her own.

“Let’s go,” he ordered after breaking the kiss.

“Suppose I don’t want to?”

“Trust me, you do.” He pulled her up and once again that hand on her back sent shivers throughout her body.

Before she knew it, they were in front of her house.  “How did you know where I live?”

“You think you were the only one who wanted you in a different department.  I’ve been listening and learning.”  He smiled that evil grin of his and she was hooked.

“Coming in?”

“Before I answer, I want you to think about what I’m going to say. Despite the rumors, I’m not a kiss em’ and leave em’ guy.  I left the frat boy mentality a long way back, meaning I don’t do gratuitous sex.  So if you think you’re ready, I’ll come in.  Otherwise, I’ll be a gentleman,  walk you to your door, give you a chaste kiss and call it a night.”

She didn’t answer but started to get out of the car.  He was around the car and helping her in a flash.  When they arrived at her front door, he unlocked it as he reached over to give her a kiss.  Before he knew what happened, she had pulled him inside and locked the door.  She took his hand and led him down the hallway to her bedroom.  She pushed him down on the bed.

“Now who’s being bossy,” he said.

What are you going to do about it. Mr. Hatcher, spank me?”

“Now, there’s an idea that suits me fine.  I’ve often fantasized placing my hands on your cute tush, not quite in that way, but I’m more than game.”

“Maybe later,” she told him.  She began to unbutton his shirt and push it off his shoulders. She pulled it out of his trousers and threw it on the floor. She knelt down and removed his shoes and socks.  Next came his belt, she swooped it out of his pants, unzipped his trousers and let them join his shirt on the floor, leaving him in only his bikini briefs. Her eyes feasted on his tanned, muscled body as he lay there, eyes wide, with an ear to ear grin on his face.  Slowly removing her own clothes, piece by agonizing piece, taunting and teasing along the way she smiled as she watched certain parts of his body react to her actions.

Janice pushed down the straps of her bra and slipped her fingers into the waistband of her panties before sticking her fingers into her crotch and wetting them in her juices.  Is was what she did next that drove Dennis into action.  She slipped those slick fingers into her mouth and sucked.

“That’s it.” He sprung up off the bed and took in one graceful swoop across his lap. He slapped her ass hard.  She gasped but it was exactly what she wanted.

“Is this what want, you little tease?” he asked as he delivered another hard smack to her tush.

She smiled to herself – she was just where she wanted to be.  All she had to do now was close the deal – something she was very good at doing, she knew how - thus her promotion.  She smiled again as another smack landed and she moaned her delight.

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

The Book of ...

Have any of you ever been on or auditioned for a quiz show? It's quite a process and although I've know quite a few people who have auditioned, including Ray, until now I've never personally known one to be selected and actually on TV.  Well, now I do.  A dear friend's daughter made it through the whole process and will be on the Wheel of Fortune that is airing tonight in the US.  I can't wait.

It wasn’t possible that it was Saturday morning already.  In reality, I knew it was because everybody wished me a good weekend when I left work yesterday. Don’t get me wrong, I love weekends.  It’s always a chance to catch up with everything with a little time left over for fun. The thing is one of the things we (being my husband Garrett and me) always need to do is go over the list of the past week.

The list is something that I agreed to when we were first dating and carried it through to our married lives.  We both expected certain things and so we made a list and agreed to a weekly check-in.  Rarely does Garrett, being an A-one stand up guy, not meet my expectations.  On the occasions that happens, I am gifted with a piece of art, or jewelry, or a spa day, something that is only for me to enjoy.  However, when I don’t meet the list expectations, he gets to spank me.

I know, I know.  It sounds archaic in this day and age, but it’s what I agreed to and I never really gave it much thought. Silly me,  but you know how it is when you’re in the first throes of love – you’d almost agreed to anything so as not to disappoint.   Anyways, we decided to set aside Saturday mornings for our weekly list review - it cleared the air and set the tone for a hassle-free weekend.

Most of the time, it was no big deal.  We kept a notebook on the kitchen counter next to the coffeepot and everyday note down any indiscretions or disappointments. On Saturday morning, whoever woke first and started the coffee would bring the notebook to the bedroom, and we would go over the entries.  We’d discuss the entries and nine times out of ten, we would laugh at some of the things that seemed so important at the time.  It was a relief – Isometimes I'd get a good girl spanking, then we’d kiss, make love and start our weekend.

However, sometimes it was a big deal and this weekend was going to be one of them.  I’d seen his entries in the book and knew I was in for a humdinger of a spanking this week. For some reason, I was off the reservation, and everything I did was a no-no.  On Monday, I forgot to lock the door from the house to the garage door, on Tuesday, I left the curling iron plugged in, on Wednesday, I received a ticket for failing to make a complete stop at a Stop sign.  By Thursday, I didn’t think I could do any more damage.  My mistake, I left my cell phone on the kitchen counter when I left for work and on Friday, I figured ‘what the hell’ my goose was already cooked, and I had one too many glasses of wine with friends after work and then drove home.

I really think the only reason I escaped getting my butt blistered on Friday night was that when I came home, I lay down on the bed and that was that.  I must have passed out from exhaustion from all my naughty deeds.

Anyway, now it was Saturday and time to pay the piper. I rolled over and there next to me was the notebook and one staunch looking husband, sitting there ready and waiting.  Was that glee I saw on his face?  No.  I knew it wasn’t.  Sure he liked to take me over his knee, and hear me squeal my delight as his hand warmed my bottom, but this wasn’t going to be one of those kind of spankings.  Today was lesson time.

I sat up and said good morning.  Garrett remained stoic, saying only good morning and then picked up the book.

“Not necessary,” I told him.  “I know what’s written there.”

“I know you do.  All of these issues are major issues. “

“I know, I know.  I don’t know what came over me this week.”

“Whatever it was, I don’t want a repeat, and once I’m through with your chastisement, I hope you’ll realize just how serious I take your well-being.”  He pulled me across his lap and began warming my bottom.  His hand covered both cheeks and the tops of my thighs, each slap stingier than the one before.  I wasn’t squealing with delight this morning – more like squealing with pain.  Surely, he had to be almost finished.

When his hand stopped striking my backside, he told me to stand up.  I was up in a flash and rubbing my behind when I saw him move to the end of the bed.  He piled up pillows, and it was then I saw him pull out his belt.  The belt I bought him for his last birthday – that beautifully crafted leather belt. What the hell was I thinking?  Obviously not that it would be used on my bare behind.

I thought about begging but realized it would do no good.  The best thing I could do was lay over those mounded pillows and take my punishment, even if it killed me.  Oh, I knew it wouldn’t, but I knew my ass would be stinging as if a thousand bees had done their job..

I lay down on the pillows and heard Garrett calling me a good girl. My heart leaped - who would have ever thought those two little words had that much power to move me but they did.  He positioned me as he wanted and then rubbed my back.  His hand meandered to my ass,  no doubt assessing the damage he had already inflicted there. It felt good, even when he trailed the leather belt across my butt cheeks and thighs, I could feel my dew increase at the sensation.  I relaxed, and that’s when the first lash of the belt struck home.  It struck across both cheeks, and the fire that had begun to subside from the hand spanking reignited.  I didn’t have to wait long for the second strike to land, either on or just below the first.  The third followed soon after.  I sensed him moving to the other side of the bed and knew that I probably only had to endure three more lashes before it would be over.  At least, I hoped that would be the case.

Sure enough, Garrett brought the belt down three more times, and I heard it hit the floor. My ass was on fire, but I was wrong.  It wasn’t over yet.  He pulled me up and instead of bringing me up to sit on his lap as was his usual habit, I found myself over his knee again.  Once again, he positioned me where he wanted, making sure my head and upper body was supported on the bed and my bottom up high over his raised knee, the other leg holding mine in place.

Once again, that hand rained down hard spanks on my already punished bottom, one after another until I couldn’t feel them anymore.  My butt was numb, and it didn’t matter how much longer he spanked, I wouldn’t feel it until later.

Finally, it was over, and this time, when he brought me up on his lap, it was to soothe and caress my tears away.

I don’t know how much longer we sat there, me cradled on Garrett’s lap as he enveloped me in his love, but when we parted, I saw him close the notebook.

And so another week’s list was recorded and marked corrected, even if I wouldn’t be sitting comfortably anytime soon.

And so ends another Monday story on Aimless Ramblings.

Truth Really Can Be Stranger Than Fiction

Leaving the store, I couldn't find my keys.  They weren't in my pocket or purse.  Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car.  Frantically, I headed for the parking lot.  My husband had scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition fearing the car could be stolen.

The parking lot was empty.  I immediately called the police.  I gave them my location, confessed that I had probably left my keys in the car and that it had been stolen.  Then, I made the most difficult call of all to my husband.

"I left my keys in the car and it's been stolen," I said.

There was a moment of silence. I thought the call had been disconnected, but then I heard his voice.

"Are you kidding me?" he barked.  "I dropped you off."

Now it was may turn to be silent.  Embarrassed, I said.  "Well, come and get me then."

He retorted.  "I will as soon as I can convince this cop that I didn't steal your damn car."

Okay, the above is a joke, but I can totally understand how this could happen.  I will now tell you a true story  Years ago; I returned to work after lunch.  Several times during the afternoon, people reported a car was running in the parking lot, and there didn't seem to be anyone around.  The story was always dismissed.  Do you see where this is going?  Sure as God made little green apples, I returned to the parking lot after work, and sure enough, there sat my car, engine running away. The only good part was that the car was locked.  Luckily there was a hidden key beneath the fender, so I didn't have to call Ray to come and get me.   Needless to say, it was years before I shared this story with Ray.

The Storm Got Me Spanked

Let me start off by saying Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.  Enjoy the day.

Hurricane Matthew has been in the forefront of the news this weekend along with our deplorable Republican candidate for the President of the United States. I feel so bad for those who have borne the brunt of Mother Nature.  Matthew's fury played out in the island nations worse than here on the mainland.  Meanwhile, back at the ranch, unlike Matthew, The Donald is still here.  He simply annoys the bejesus out of me and for the life of me, I can't understand how anyone can possibly think he would be a good president - dictator maybe.   Enough for now before I start to get on my soapbox.

Here's this week's story.

A loud boom woke Andi out of a sound sleep.  A moment later, a flash of light brightened the bedroom, and she knew they were experiencing a rare event.  Thunderstorms in their area of Arizona were few and far between other than in monsoon season, and that was over.  She loved watching the lightning streak across the sky, preferably from the safety of somewhere indoors so she hopped out of bed to catch the show.

Mark was still asleep so she quietly donned a pair of sweat pants, a tee shirt and carried her flip flops out of the bedroom, gently shutting the door so as not to wake him. The rain was coming down in sheets by the time she got to the kitchen.  She switched on the coffee as another clap of thunder reverberated through the house.  The boom was so loud, it must have hit something, was her thought.  The light on the coffee pot was no longer showing, and turning on the light switch, she got nothing.  Grabbing the flashlight she went to check the breaker box in the garage.  The flashlight highlighted an empty spot, and she stopped dead in her tracks.  Her car should be there – then she remembered she hadn’t pulled it into the garage the night before.

Shit,” she said to herself.  Did I even put up the top?”  She hit the garage door opener forgetting about the electricity and cursed again.  She ran to the side door and out into the rain. There in the driveway was their pride and joy – their brand new Convertible – the top down and getting a thorough wash job – inside and out.  ‘Mark is going kill me.’ She ran back to the house to get the keys – they weren’t on the kitchen rack.  ‘Damn, where did I put them.’  She was on her way to the bedroom to get her purse when she ran into Mark in the hall.

He tried to give her a morning kiss, but she blew right by him. “Where are you going in such a hurry,” he asked
.
“Need my car keys?” she responded.

“What for?”

“Because it’s raining.”

“Yeah, so.”

“I don’t have time for this conversation, Mark.  The car is getting wet.”

“Didn’t you put it in the garage when I asked you about it?”

She didn’t answer, just kept on moving past him.  Watching her scurry around, he guessed the answer was no.  “That’s okay, one little rain storm is not going to hurt it.”

“You don’t understand.”

“What don’t I understand,” he asked as he followed her out the side door.  That’s when he saw why she was so upset.  She ran to the car.  There had to be at least an inch of water on the seats and the floor.  She sloshed through the wet and quickly turned the key, pushing the “up” button. Mark watched the top slowly rise as Andi sat in the driver’s seat getting drenched.

Mark was beside himself.  The previous evening he had asked her several times if she wasn’t going back out to put the car in the garage.  If she had made up her mind, he would have done it, but she kept telling him not to worry about it, she’d take care of it.  He was tired after a bear of a week and fell asleep in the chair. When he awoke, all the lights were out,  he climbed into bed – the car the last thing on his mind.

Mark undid the garage door opener.  He manually pulled open the door and told Andi that since she was already wet, she could drive the car into the garage. Mark gathered up all the towels he could find and started sopping up the water from the seats.  As soon as the electricity came back on, they’d be able to wet vac the car, but until then, this would have to do.

When they’d done their best, he handed Andi a dry towel.  She still looked like a drowned rat in her sopping wet clothes.  He waited until she had dried herself off before telling her he was going to blister her butt.

“I didn’t do it on purpose.”

“How many times did I ask you about putting the car in the garage?”

“Apparently, not enough.  If you were so goldarned worried about it, why didn’t you get up and put it away.”

“I'm not sure getting mouthy is in your best interests right now.  Besides, I would have, but you kept insisting that you would take care of it.  Well now, I’m going to take care of you."

He pushed her against the sink, put his arm on her back and with his other hand grabbed a wooden spoon from the crock.  She was standing in a puddle of water that dripped from her clothes.  He yanked down her sweatpants and was surprised to see her bare bottom.  ‘All the better, it’s one less thing I have to remove.”

The storm was still raging outside, and Mark was taking his clue from the pattern of the falling rain. He smacked Andi’s bottom over and over, playing a tune that soon had her dancing around on the wet floor.

“Stop Mark, it hurts.”  He ignored her pleas and picked up the wooden spoon.  The sounds of the wooden spoon hitting her bare flesh weren’t quite as loud as the thunderclaps outside, but Andi’s howls of protest were.  When he thought her bottom was sufficiently colored, he dropped the spoon and gave her a final few whacks with his hand. He removed his hand from her back, kissed her head and picked up her sodden clothes, taking them to the washer. Nary a word was spoken between them.

The storm was abating, the rain gently falling now, not the downpour of before.  The smell of coffee permeated the air.  A few shafts of sunlight were peeking through the windows.  Rubbing her backside, Andi looked at Mark and asked if he wanted to join her outside to look for a rainbow.

It seemed that everywhere, the power had been restored and things were back to normal.
