A Needed Break or Showers Can be Fun
We’re going away this weekend”, Doug said
"I can’t” she told him, “I have too much work to do”
“You’re just going to have to work around it because we are
going. You need some downtime and that’s
final”.
Beth had been working on this presentation for the last
month. It was down to crunch time and
she just couldn’t get it right. It was
due on Friday and she would be working every night this week just to get it
finished. Her promotion depended on her
getting this account and she was in a dead heat with the new “hotshot” ad guy
they had just hired. She had been bitchy
and crabby for the past week and had taken it out on Doug. He was being so calm and patient with her, he
realized how much this campaign meant to her.
He didn’t care if she got the promotion, frankly he wanted her to quit
but he knew how much she loved her work.
He would put up with it as long as it didn’t interfere with him and he
was just about there. Frankly, she was
surprised he hadn’t already corrected her. She probably would have already been
sitting gingerly if he hadn’t been called out early this morning. She would make it up to him if she could just
get through the rest of the week.
When her boss looked over their projects on Thursday, he
wanted some tweaking done on both presentations and suggested they meet again
Monday morning before the clients arrived on Tuesday. Beth was beside herself. She knew better than to suggest to Doug this
weekend trip be cancelled. She was going to have to find some time to make the
changes.
Beth stayed up very late on Thursday to finish her
changes. She thought Doug was already
asleep but when she quietly slipped into bed she felt his hand reach over to
pat her butt. That was his usual ritual
indicating he was off to sleep and didn’t want any more distractions. She pulled up the cover and that was the last
she knew anything until the morning.
When she got up Doug was already in the shower. Beth decided to surprise him and join
him. When she stepped into the bathroom,
it was so steamy the shower door was fogged over. She slowly opened the door and a blast of
steam hit her and a soapy arm grabbed her in the mist.
“Who’s this invading my showertime?” he glowered.
“Someone who loves this big brute of a man that has been so
patient with her these last couple of weeks” she replied.
“I am glad you noticed because you have no idea how much
restraint I’ve exercised. My palm has
been itchy so often I thought I had a rash”.
“I know and I promise I will make it up to you this weekend”
Beth responded.
He began soaping her back and shoulders working his hands down
to her butt and inner thighs. Next he
started in on her front and gently soaped her neck and breasts, teasing the
nipples gently as he moved down her tummy to her mons. He eased her right leg onto the shower bench
and washed her calves, ankles and feet then moved her right leg to substitute her
left leg. She was reveling in the gentle
ministrations when she felt his hands once again on her mons. He used his palm to rub little circles exerting
pressure while the fingers on his other hand found her clit and gently
flicked. The touch was ever so
light. She was so aroused she was
moaning and grabbing for his manhood. He
maneuvered her around and had her bend slightly over the shower bench and
entered her from behind. While his
fingers kept working her clit he began thrusting in and out. She was panting and very close to climax when
he increased his thrusts and they both climaxed within seconds of each other.
“I think this is going to be one helluva good day” Doug
said. She agreed.
She got dressed and packed a bag so all she had to do when
she got home was change clothes, brush her teeth and she was ready. She was so
glad he had made the decision for this getaway.
This morning went a long way to helping her get into the right frame of
mind.
Unfortunately, things went to hell in a basket. The client moved up the meeting to today at
2:30. She spent the morning put
finishing touches on the presentation so when the client came they were ready. Well, the presentation was ready but
unfortunately the client wanted changes and wanted them immediately. She and the “hot shot” went back to the
drawing board and this time they worked together instead of separately. They
went back and forth several times and it was 5:30 before she realized it. She was supposed to be home by now and
leaving for their getaway. The client
still wanted another change so she called Doug.
There wasn’t any answer and she hoped that didn’t mean what she thought it did. They were working through the
changes when there was a commotion in the outer office. The receptionist walked in and said there was
a Doug Aldridge was here to see his wife.
She excused herself and went to the outer office. She went over to Doug and explained the
situation.
“I really don’t care.
It’s 6:30 Friday night and we are leaving for our weekend. Go get your purse and anything else you may
need. We’re leaving”
“But Doug, I can’t”.
“You can, and you will”.
He propelled her to the office to pick up her things. When they were finished, he escorted her out
the door telling the receptionist to tell the others she had left. She didn’t
talk to him the entire trip. He checked
in at the hotel and when they were finally alone in the room he told her to
either snap out of it or she was going to get spanked. He was not going to let her sulk all weekend
and ruin their time. She looked at him
like he was crazy.
“I mean it Beth. I
will give you five minutes to get your head straight. If you don’t you are going over my knee”
She ran into the bathroom and locked the door. She would never get the promotion now. She was so humiliated, even if she still had a
job, she didn’t think she could face
them again. How could they ever respect
her now if she was not respected by her own husband. She understood their dynamic at home, but
that wasn’t home. No, he could spank her
all he wanted, she was not going to give in.
He was at the door trying to get in. He tried a couple of times and then it got
quiet. The next thing she knew he was
standing there with the maintenance man behind him. Doug thanked him and the guy turned and
left.
“Obviously, you still are not thinking straight so over my
knee you go”. He sat down on the
commode, placed her over his knee, pulled up her skirt and began spanking her
behind. He told her he hated to start
off their weekend this way but she left him no choice. After he felt she was sufficiently warmed up,
he lowered her panties and really laid into her. She was being so quiet he was beginning to
despair he would get through. He kept
spanking her hard and she didn’t let out a peep. He couldn’t take any more so he stopped,
stood her up and propelled her to a corner in the bedroom.
“Stand there with your hands on the wall until I decide
what’s going to happen next", he told her.
He was angry now, angry that she wouldn’t acquiesce and he wanted to get
himself under control. It was dark outside and the only the lights coming
into the room were from the under the doorway.
He could see her outlined standing in that corner. She stood straight as an arrow and he could
tell by her stance she had not softened one iota. He couldn’t stand it any
longer; he went over to her, brought her hands down, turned her around and took
her in his arms. She was as stiff as a
board.
“Beth, let’s start this weekend again. I don’t want to spank you anymore and I don’t
think you want that either. But, I will if I have to. How about we order room
service and a bottle of wine and resolve this thing?”
“Whatever you want” she said.
“What I want is my wife back. Is that going to happen anytime soon?”
“I was so humiliated with the way you treated me in front of
my peers” she told him.
“All I did was ask you to get your things and told the
receptionist to tell the others you had left.
Nothing else. You know how I feel about that job. They are always dangling a carrot that you are
never going to be able to grab. We see the situation differently but I will
apologize for my action if how you perceived it was humiliating to you. I never want to do anything that allows
anyone to think you are less than you are.”
He cupped his hands around her face, looked into her eyes
and saw a tear forming. He hugged her
tightly and told her to go wash her face and then take a look at the menu.
“After dinner, let’s take a shower and end this day that way
it was begun” Doug said.
“I think I would like that very much”, she said as she
walked into the bathroom.

Doing His Job
I'm excited. Tomorrow we're going to a spring training baseball game to see our beloved Rockies. Haven't been to a live game since we left Colorado. The Rockies were born during our time in Denver and it was exciting to watch them progress. They've had some good and bad years but we still love them.
It's been a good week here. We've had lots of love and laughter with friends and family. We have also done quite a bit of "dancing". Hubby has been in a mood and I 'm wondering if it had something to do with PK. She had a post which I emailed to hubby and since then I can't seem to get past him without him taking a swat. The other day as he was drying the silicone spatula, he actually stopped, looked at it, pulled me across his hip and delivered about ten stingy spanks. Night before last was the best, he asked if I was up for some dancing. Of course my answer was yes and when I went into the bedroom, the strap, the paint stirrer and flogger were laying on the bed. Oh, what a night. Who said "old folks" can't have fun.*
*if you think it's not true just go read over on PK's Cassie's Space.

MID TERM
Morning everyone. Another beautiful day here - a little chilly. There was snow here in the Phoenix area this week. Another oddity in a very odd weather year.
Subject: Mid Term Exam
Students in an advanced Biology class were taking their mid-term
exam. The last question was, ' Name seven advantages of Mother ' s Milk. The
question was worth 70 points or none at all.
One student, in particular, was hard put to think of seven advantages. However, he wrote: 1) It is perfect formula for the child. 2) It provides immunity against several diseases. 3) It is always the right temperature. 4) It is inexpensive. 5) It bonds the child to mother, and vice versa. 6) It is always available as needed. And then the student was stuck. Finally, in desperation, just before the bell rang indicating the end of the test, he wrote: 7) It comes in two attractive containers and it ' s high enough off the ground where the cat can ' t get it. He got an A.
Ingenuity - Grace Under Pressure - Quick Thinking. Not sure what it was but it tickled me.

Seven Facts
A couple of weeks ago I posted 7 Rules, today it's seven facts.
1. You cannot put soap in your eyes.
2. You cannot count your hair.
3. You cannot breathe through your nose with your tongue out.
4. You did #3.
5. When you did #3 you realized it's possible but you look like a dog.
6. Your smiling right now because I fooled you.
7. Now you will be sharing this with your friends because you want revenge for looking foolish.
Didn't mean to hit publish, but here it is anyway. See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

It's a Rainy Night in Georgia
‘It's A Rainy Night in Georgia’ was playing on the radio as I
drove down the road on a rainy night. I
should have left earlier but I was having so much fun. With a little luck I would still beat him
home. His plane wasn’t due in until
12:30 am so by the time he got his luggage and got to the car he shouldn’t be
home til around 2:00 am. He knew I was
going out tonight and his last instructions to me were to watch the drinking
and be home before midnight. We were
having such a good time that the midnight curfew seemed so childish I guess I
just blew it off. After all, my very
best friend was leaving to take a job overseas and I wouldn’t be seeing her for
a long time.
I heard the beeper go off on my phone indicating a text
message. I knew I shouldn’t have even
attempted to read it but temptation was just too great and I reached for my
purse. The phone was in the front pocket
for easy access. I reached across for my
purse and it fell over emptying the contents on the floor. My phone among them. I was trying to reach over to grab it and I
accidentally swerved the car to the right.
My tire caught and into the ditch I went. That damned ditch. Fortunately, or
unfortunately, a police car pulled up right behind me. I don’t know if he had seen the whole thing
or was just cruising his beat. I rolled
down the window as he approached. I was fishing in the glove box for the
registration and insurance card when he shined the flashlight right into my
eyes.
“Can you please redirect the stream of light” I asked
politely.
He moved the beam slightly to the right so that it was not
directly in my eyes.
“Sorry, are you hurt” he asked. I told him I was fine and handed him the
information I already had in my hand.
“Your driver’s license too please”, he asked.
This was going to be a problem. My license expired on my birthday last month
and I didn’t have a new one. I sent it
in but forgot to include the check so it was returned to me and I still had not
gotten around to it. Another nail in my coffin when Colin found out.
“This license has expired, do you have your new one?” the
policeman asked.
I started to explain and he just waved me off. “I guess the answer is no then”. That must have been when he smelled the
alcohol on my breath or he suspected that might be the case because of the
hour.
“Can you step out of the car please” he directed me.
This was not as easy as it might appear because the right
side of the car was stuck in the ditch making the left side on an upward angle.
I tried getting out just as my boot heel caught in the brake pedal and
practically fell out of the car onto the pavement. He reached over to assist me. When I was finally on my own two feet he told
me to place my hands on the roof of the car.
There I am standing there like a criminal while he is running my expired
license and registration. Out of the
corner of my eye I see him walking over to me with some sort of contraption in
his hand. Then I realized what it was,
OMG it was a breathalyzer. I am so in
trouble now I thought to myself.
He told me that before he administered the test I could
agree to take a sobriety test. I knew
that was my only chance so I agreed. It
was the usual, touch your nose and head, dadadadada. Then I had to walk a straight line
backward. This is a problem for me. I don’t even walk a straight line forward but
I gave it my all. Apparently, when my
heel caught it must have cracked because when I attempted the backward stroll
it broke all the way through and I lost my balance and fell down. What else could possibly go wrong I thought
to myself. The policeman helped me up
and I see a car slowing down and pulling over in front of us. The car looks just like Colin’s. Oh no,
please Dear God, it can’t be. My hand
automatically slid back to cover my rear end.
The car door opens and out steps Colin who begins walking
toward us. The policeman asked him to
please not come any further and if there is anything he can do to help
him. Colin looks right past the
policeman and straight at me. His eyes
are blazing and he has this look on his face that tells me I am dead meat.
I say hello to Colin and he asks me in the frostiest tone of
voice. “What is going on here Caroline and why are you not home?”
The policeman says “I take it you know this woman”.
Colin responds that yes, he knows her, that
she is his wife. The policeman then
begins to give him all the details of the encounter. As I listen to the exchange I begin to laugh
because it really is a comedy of errors.
Colin looks over at me and says you think this is
funny. Well, have your fun now because
once I get you home you won’t think it’s too funny. My laughter dies in an instant.
Now the policeman is in a quandary. He doesn’t know how to proceed. He finally told Colin and me that he would
issue a ticket for careless driving because I was going to fast on a wet road
and lost control of the car as well as driving without a valid license; but
that he would not press forward with a DUI or a DWI because it was
unproven. He told Colin he would have to
have the car towed because they couldn’t leave it there and he couldn’t allow
her to drive because she didn’t have a license.
By this time I don’t even want to look at Colin because he
is so angry I think there was actually steam coming out of his ears. I hear him on the phone to AAA and hear that
it will be at least another thirty minutes before the tow truck can get
there. The policeman’s radio went off
then and he asked them if they would be alright if he responded to this
call. I was silently begging Colin to
say he would prefer it if he stayed but to no avail.
“No, you go ahead Officer.
I can handle things from here.
Thank you so much for your understanding” Colin replies
In the smallest voice I could muster, I also thanked the
officer.
By now we are both like drenched rats and Colin ushers me
over to his car to wait. He placed his
hand on the small of my back which always gives me the shivers anyway because
to me it is such a sign of dominance and control but tonight it is especially
so. When he closed the door and went
around to the other side to get I had to fight my instinct to not lock the
door. I was so not looking forward to
this conversation.
“Welcome home sweetheart” I tell him in my still small
voice. “I missed you”.
“Thank you Caroline. It is good to be home. I missed you too but I don’t think you are
going to be so happy to see me once I get you home. You are only lucky that I have this time to
calm down before we get there”.
We sat there in silence until the tow truck arrived. I started to get out of the car and was told in no uncertain
terms to stay put. I did as I was told
and asked him to please get my purse from the front seat and to check on the
floor for any of the contents that may have spilled out including my phone.
“Is that why the car ended up in the ditch, Caroline?” I didn’t want to answer but my silence must
answered for me.
“I see” he said.
Once everything was taken care of and Colin stepped back
into the car we began the drive home.
Silence ensued but I felt myself getting warmer. It must be my exaggeration or my nerves she
thought to herself. After about ten
minutes she was pretty uncomfortable and was squirming around in her seat.
“Are you having a problem, Caroline?” Colin asked.
I told him I was getting pretty warm and that perhaps he
should turn down the heat. He told me
that I was the only one getting warm because he had turned up the heat in my
seat. He said this way I would be warmed
up for what I had coming when we got home.
“Oh” I replied.
The drive seemed to take longer than the usual thirty
minutes in some ways but in other ways it was not nearly long enough. He parked the car in the garage and came
around to open the door for me. He told
me to go directly to the bedroom and get out of my wet things. Once again I did
as I was told. I had just removed the
last of my clothing when he came in. He turned on the shower and told me to get
in, he would be ready for me when I came out.
Before I even had a chance to dry off completely, he was on me like
white on rice. He led me over to the bed and began the lecture. He told me that tonight’s spanking was just a
preliminary and I could expect another spanking tomorrow when I told him the
full story. He explained that he was too
tired tonight but I had to know how disappointed he was with my behavior. That statement made me feel worse than the
spanking I knew I would be getting tonight and tomorrow.
He put me across his knee and began spanking my ass. I was still wet from the shower so the sting
seemed to be so much greater. Just when I thought it was over and started to
get up he reminded me that he was the judge of when I had enough and it wasn’t
yet. That’s when I heard the whoosh of
air just before the belt hit my already smarting bottom. After five licks or so, I was a crying mess
and he stopped. He picked me up and put
me under the covers and kissed me goodnight.
“Until morning”, he said.
“Sleep well”.

This and That
WOW. The weather here this week has been wonderful. Like I expected it to be all winter. Highs in the low 70's. It's been a busy week. We have had dinner with friends several times this week, which is always great fun. We laughed and laughed, their daughter joined us and said she had forgotten how it was being with the four of us. I think she meant it as a compliment, I took it that way anyway.
One day I joined a friend at her card club and we played all afternoon. I love cards and hubby is just not that into it. Once in a great while he will feel sorry for me and play a game or so but not nearly enough for me.
Other dear friends of ours have joined us here in Arizona for two weeks. They're also full time RV'rs so they too roam the same areas of the country and we always seem to be able to meet up somewhere along the way. We've had dinner with them at their place and they'll come out to see us next week. The following week we are going to take a few days and join them in Las Vegas. It's been years since we've been there. It has changed so much I probably won't even recognize most of it. Most of the hotels that used to be our haunts our gone, very few remain. We were married there at a chapel next to Circus Circus which I always said reminded me very much of our wedding. Some day I may post the story - looking back it's hilarious, at the time, not soooo funny.
Valentine's Day was pretty low key for us. We always try to avoid going out to dinner on holidays. It always seems like a good idea until we get there and then the lightbulb goes on as to why we do it so seldom. We grilled filets, tails and asparagus. It was delicious but sorry to say that was the only tail reddened that evening. I had several glasses of proseco and it took over about nine and I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.
It's also been a week of good news with Bas feeling well enough to post again, Minelle's hubby finally recovering nicely and Love Spanks being such a success. I enjoyed reading all of the stories and can't wait until they do that again. My thanks to the writers who participated and to those who contributed the great prizes. I was lucky enough to win an amazon gift certificate from Sue Lyndon and a pre-release copy of Ana's new book, The Way Home. On that same note, I want to thank everybody for stopping by and wishing us a Happy Valentine's Day and leaving a wonderful comment on my reprinted story. I love getting comments, it's like my fifteen minutes of fame.
I'm off to enjoy another pretty day. Hope you are able to do the same. Tomorrow's story is a cute one. I think you will enjoy it. Until then, see you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

Happy Valentine's Day
Two stories this week. This one is a reprint of one I wrote and posted last Valentine's Day. I checked back and there weren't that many visitors so thought I could post it again. Kind of like a TV rerun. Hope everyone has the Valentine's Day of their dreams, even if it is a dream. They are ususally better than the reality anyway.
She woke with the thought that
today was going to be the most perfect day ever. This was going to be their
first Valentine’s Day together as a married couple. Technically they had been
married for ten years but Rob always seemed to be on another continent on
Valentine’s Day. Last year he was in Afghanistan and the only contact was a
Skype call. Today he was here in Walnut Creek and she had been planning
this day for a while.
A limo would drive them to the beach
for sunset cocktails then onto Jackson’s By the Sea for a romantic
dinner. They would retreat to the lounge for après dinner drinks and
coffee. She would flirt with him and tease him to the point of
distraction. He would be ready to leave right then and there. But she had
other plans. They would linger a while as she continued to heighten the
sexual tension, return to the limo for some naughty foreplay and then home to a
night filled with super hot sex.
At least, that’s how she imagined
it would happen. The reality wasn’t even close.
She woke with a scratchy throat
and the sound of pouring down rain. Damn, she thought, why did it have to
be today? She went downstairs and there was a card propped up on the
table. She poured a cup of coffee and sat down and opened her card. It
was a funny card not the romantic card she had hoped to get. She loved
sweet sappy romantic cards. Funny cards were fine for and from others,
but from Rob she expected more. She was disappointed. When she went
to put the creamer back in the fridge, there was a note from Rob asking her to
please pick up his shirts from the laundry, get new windshield wipers from the
auto parts store, stop by the post office to buy stamps, and if she had time
drop off his uniform at the tailor’s. She felt like going right back to
bed and pulling the covers up over her head. Instead she headed for the
bathroom, took two aspirin and turned on the shower.
She was going to handle this like
an adult and not a sulking brat. If she hurried, she could do all of the
chores on the list and still get back home in plenty of time to relax and get
ready for their wonderful evening date.
She had just left the post office
and was on the way to the tailor’s when she heard a funny noise. She kept
driving and a few seconds later, she heard it again. This time it was even
louder. Then the engine light came on. Oh, just what I need.
She looked to see if there was a gas station she could pull into but no, of
course not, that would be too easy. She pulled into the parking lot of a
nearby medical office and called Triple A. They said they were backed up
and wouldn’t be there for at least another hour. So much for getting home
early she thought. She called Rob and told him what was happening and
asked if she should try to make it home or just wait for the tow truck.
He suggested she wait for the truck.
Ninety minutes later, she was
still waiting. By now, the aspirin had worn off and her throat was
aching, she was hungry because she had missed lunch and she had to pee.
She phoned Triple A again. They apologized for the wait and said they
would get to her as soon as possible. She told them to forget it; she
wasn’t going to wait any longer. She started the car and drove a few
miles before she heard the noise. She was almost home when the car just
stopped. Luckily, it stopped on a residential street and there wasn’t any
traffic. She tried starting the car to no avail. Now what, she
thought. If I call Triple A, it’s still going to be at least an hour
until they arrive. She decided to call a taxi. A Good Samaritan
came by and assisted her in getting her car off the road. Finally, the
cab arrived and drove her home. She was soaking wet and in a foul
mood. This wouldn’t have happened if Rob had not given her that list of
chores to do on Valentines’ Day. She grabbed a glass of wine, took two
aspirin and hopped in a hot steamy shower.
She stayed in the shower until
the hot water ran out. She heard Rob walk into the bedroom. The first
thing he said was:
“Where did you have the car
towed? I called Total Repair. The car’s not there”
“Happy Valentine’s Day to you too
honey” said a totally pissed Diane.
“Oh, sorry. Happy Valentine’s
Day” as he reached over and gave her a kiss.
“So where’s the car? He asked
again.
Diane’s voice rose exponentially
“The fucking car is parked at the curb on Dexter
Avenue”. Thank you for your concern.” She said through gritted teeth.
She went on about the car, the
chores, her sore throat, his inconsideration, dadadadadada. He took her in
his arms and told her he was truly sorry she had such a bad day. He promised he
would make it up to her. He suggested they cancel their plans and just
stay home and have a do over on Saturday. Diane said no way; she had been
planning this day for months.
The limo driver rang the bell
promptly at 6:00. Diane was not quite ready and when she came downstairs,
Rob whistled and told her how beautiful she looked. She acknowledged
his comment but was still not in a very forgiving mood. Since there was
no sunset on this gloomy day they went right to the restaurant for
cocktails. Between the aspirin and drinks, Diane was beginning to feel
woozy. Rob suggested she slow down and switch to a non-alcoholic
beverage. She told him she didn’t need him to be her keeper.
“Maybe so”, he told her, “but if
you keep acting like this, we are going to call a halt to this evening. You are
not feeling well and so far you are not enjoying yourself and neither am I.”
She pushed back her chair and
stormed over to the ladies room. While she was gone, Rob closed out the
check and went and waited by restroom door. When Diane came out, he took
hold of her elbow and escorted her out the door. She was fighting him all
the way. The limo driver was waiting. Once seated, Rob asked the
driver to close the privacy window.
“Relax, he told her”
“Like hell I will”, she said.
He told her she had better calm
down or she would have a very red bottom to mark her Valentine’s Day. She
didn’t heed the warning. When they got home she was still carrying on. She stormed into the bedroom. When he followed, she picked up his clothes
brush and threw it at him. It hit him in the back of his head.
That’s it”, he said, “You had
your last chance”.
He picked up the brush, pulled
her over his knee, yanked up her dress and proceeded to put the clothes brush
to good use. He was angry and knew he shouldn’t be doing this but she had
really pissed him off. He stopped spanking and looked at that lovely
backside all reddened by the brush and lust just took over. He picked her
up and seated her on his lap and began kissing her while rubbing her punished
tush.
“I’m sorry things didn’t turn out
the way you planned. I am sorry I spanked you but you were so out of
control I lost my temper too.
Will you forgive me?”
She just nodded her head.
He continued to hold and comfort her.
“Damn, I love your ass”, as his hands
kept massaging those fleshy mounds.
The kisses and hands became more
demanding, their caresses more passionate, touching, feeling, teasing,
exploring each other’s pleasure points – and deep in the throes of the most
mind blowing sex they had ever had.
Maybe this wasn’t the Valentine’s
Day she had planned but it turned out to be the best one ever.
See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

Out of Her Comfort Zone
Joannie and Derek met at Thanksgiving. He met her family at Christmas and they spent New Year's Eve in New York. Now it's Valentine's weekend and they will be spending it at Derek's home in Dallas.
As she rode to the airport, the cabbie kept looking at her
because she was crying so hard. Their two month whirlwind courtship was
over. She thought he was a keeper and she was even
willing to put up with the occasional spanking but now he had gone too
far. She was, after all, a grown woman
and didn’t like being treated as a child.
__________________________________________
He had a five day furlough and had invited her to join him
at his home in Dallas for Valentine’s Day.
She was more than happy to do so.
She didn’t have any vacation time left so she took “sick” leave
instead. She had so many days built up
she would never be able to use them all and they were non transferable so she
didn’t see the harm. He arranged for her
to fly first class and gave her a pass to the Admiral’s Lounge. When she
entered the lounge, sitting across from the door was one of her bosses. Unfortunately, for her, he just happened to
look up and saw her. Was he aware she
was on bogus “sick” leave?
Her mind was going in a thousand directions at once. How should I play this? As luck would have it, his flight was called and he left the lounge
and he told her to have a good flight.
Whew, she thought, I don’t have to think about this until next Tuesday. Right now she was on her way to meet the “man
of her dreams” and nothing was going to cheat her of that experience.
Derek was as the gate to meet her, one of the privileges of
working for the airline. He greeted her
with a hug and a real long lovely kiss. She was literally swept off her feet
and overheard an older couple walking by remark that “young love is grand, do
you remember, Henry”. They both chuckled
and told the couple, “yes it is”. They walked hand in hand out of the airport
and into his car. On the drive to his house he asked her how her flight was and
if she had any trouble. She told him
everything was fine once the scare was over.
“What scare?” he asked.
“Oh, nothing serious, just seeing one of the bosses in the
lounge”
“Why should that have been a scare?”
Damn, she thought to herself. She should have not related that fact. Now she would have to tell him how she
managed to get the time off or it would mean another lie. She knew how he felt about lying. He had spanked her twice before for it and
the last time he told her if he caught her again she would not like the
consequences.
“Just me being silly” she said, hoping he would drop the
subject.
She immediately switched gears asking him what he had
planned for them. The only times she had
been in Dallas had been for business and hadn’t really had time for much
else. She told him she would like to go
to Dealy Plaza, Reunion Tower and Fort Worth to see the cattle drive and have
dinner at J T Garcia’s and she hoped they would have the time.
He looked askance at her, knew she was trying to divert the
topic of the scare and decided to let it go for the moment. Right now he just wanted to enjoy the fact
that she was here and to make sure she loved the city enough to return again
and again, eventually for good. He loved
her and planned on asking her to marry him before this trip was over. He knew they hadn’t known each other long but
he was sure she was the right one for him.
He was pretty sure she felt the same. Her job and family might be a
stumbling block but he wouldn’t even mind if she commuted back and forth until
children came along. With his erratic schedule it probably was best she
continue to work until she had something else to keep her busy. As for the family, being a pilot afforded them
opportunities to travel as a discounted rate and they could visit back and
forth.
He told her they could probably fit it all in. He watched her breathe a sigh of relief and
knew there was something she was definitely hiding.
Wow, she thought, I dodged that bullet.
His apartment was a penthouse floor in downtown Dallas. It was all windows and because they were so
high there was nothing to obstruct the view.
He had roll down screens that kept out the sunlight but none of the
view. She couldn’t wait to see it at
night. It was definitely a man’s apartment but looked very comfortable.
“It’s beautiful” she told him.
“Yes, I am comfortable enough here and it is
convenient. I wouldn’t mind a house in
the suburbs though.” He told her thinking of the future he had planned for
them.
“Sweetheart, let’s get you comfortable” he winked.
“I am comfortable” she said completely missing the
point. He came over to her and started
unbuttoning her blouse.
“Oh, that kind of comfortable” she smiled and started
unbuckling his belt.
After their passion had been spent, he suggested they shower
and go sightseeing. She was game for
that. She was a history buff and the whole Kennedy assassination fascinated
her. Dealy Plaza and the Texas Book
Depository were must see’s as far as she was concerned.
By the time they had finished touring the museum they were both
starved and decided to stop to eat. The Galleria Mall had quite a few
restaurants and Derek thought they could do some window shopping at jewelry
stores while they were there. This way
he could get an idea of what kind of ring she would prefer.
They found a little bistro tucked in the corner of the mall
where they decided to stop. They were
led to a table in the back when she heard
“Hey Girl, I didn’t know you had a trip here this week. What
accounts are you visiting?” Joannie spun around to see Rick Jessup, one of her
co-workers sitting in one of the booths.
“Oh, hi Rick, I’m not here on business”
“Wow you must have some pull to get time off now, you should
let me know how you do it”. Rich said.
She laughed and gave him some smart aleck answer about not
being the right gender and they moved on. Damn, she thought I’m not going to
get away with this. I can just feel it
in my bones. Sure enough, Derek asked
her what he meant about time off. She
figured she might as well come clean.
“I took “mental health” days. She said.
“You mean you called in sick”.
“More or less, there, it’s out.
“You lied to get the time off, you lied to me about taking
the time off and if I’m not mistaken you lied to me earlier about the
scare. Am I right? . He did not have on a happy face and his voice
was filled with disappointment.
“I’m sorry, Derek. I
just couldn’t say no to coming to Dallas.
I wanted so much to see you. I
know you hate lying and I know you are going to spank me but it will be worth it”
Joannie said.
“ I am so disappointed.
I thought we were past this because you know how I feel about it. We’re going to have dinner now and we will
talk about this more when we get back to the apartment. Enjoy sitting
comfortably because it will be a while before you do so again” Derek told her.
Derek was his usual calm, confident self. He kept trying to engage her in conversation
but she was so upset she was miserable.
She kept toying with her food. She had lost her appetite. When he asked for the check, it was almost a
relief to be going home, even though what awaited her was not something to
which she looked forward.
On the way home Derek stopped at a drugstore and purchased
something while she perused the magazine shelf.
When they got back to the apartment he told her to change her clothes
and meet him in the bathroom. When Derek
figured she would be done he went to the bathroom and found her sitting on the
commode. She looked so forlorn sitting
there. He was sorry he was going to have
to do this especially now.
He had the package in his hand and when she saw what it was,
her eyes widened. It was a bar of Ivory
soap. All of a sudden she wasn’t so
remorseful any more. She jumped up and
said:
“You are not planning to wash out my mouth with soap, are
you?
“I am not planning on it, I am doing it. Maybe this will be an additional deterrent”.
“There is no way I am allowing you to do that to me.” She
got up and ran off to the bedroom. She
would have locked herself in the bathroom but that’s where he was. She immediately started throwing her clothes
into her bag and then realized she was in her night clothes. She began to
change when he walked into the room.
“What are you doing? He said
“I’m leaving. This
thing we have is over. I am a grown
woman. I would appreciate it if you
would call me a cab.” She continued
gathering her things.
“Joannie, be reasonable.
I thought we agreed what kind of relationship we were going to
have. If you feel that strongly about
the soap we can…………………..
“No, it’s not just the soap.
I went along with the spanking and the occasional fanny warming is okay
with me. But I think you are a bit too
old fashioned for me; getting my mouth
soaped , give me a break. I’m in love with you but I am an adult and expect to
be treated as such. She picked up her
bag and headed to the elevator telling him she would wait for the cab in the
lobby.
She left him standing there with a stunned look on his
face. She began to cry and by the time
the cab got there she was in full weeping mode. She sat in the waiting area try to compose
herself when she saw someone standing in front of her. The next thing she knew he was kneeling down
in front of her and took her face in his hand.
“Don’t go, Joannie. I
love you and I want to marry you. We can
work this out. I know we can” he said.
“Don’t go”
“I don’t know Derek.
I love you too, but I’m almost 35 years old and my time of standing in a
corner, or writing lines, or getting my mouth soaped was over long ago. I love our role play and our erotic
spankings; I wouldn’t even mind the occasional punishment spanking but that’s
it. I respect your need for absolute
honesty but we live in a “grey” world. I
would never lie about something important but little fibs here and there are
part of everyday life. I will try to
respect your feelings about that but I can’t promise I will never tell another
white lie. But if I do, I don’t expect
to get my mouth soaped. If you can live with that then I am willing to give it
a try.”
He picked up her bag, she stood up and put her hand in his
and they walked out of the airport and back to the Galleria to pick out a ring.
