It's Friday

I can't believe it is already Friday.  We pulled into Dallas area Saturday nite.   We stayed at a place called Pilot Knoll, a campground on Lake Lewisville.  We've stayed there before and were only going to stay two nights, ended up staying four.  My brother and his lady came over for a barbecue on our last nite there.  We had a good time and the weather was beautiful.  It's good to see my brother having fun again.  He had a tough time through my SIL's illness and utlimate death, so I'm happy for him.  His lady is perfect for him and the only bad thing about her is that she is too good, (If there is such a thing).

We're now at his place in our usual spot and it is like coming home.  Between California, Arizona and here, I know how to get everywhere I need to go.  It comes back the minute I get in the car.  It's funny how that works.

Ray and I are off to the movie now, so this is it for a bit.  I have a post up for Saturday Spankings on my other blog, so if you want to stop by and say hi, I'd love to see you.

I guess it's still March and question month, so if anyone has any, I will be glad to answer them.  I've enjoyed reading everyone's questions and answers, only wish I could think of some.

In less than two weeks I'm going to get to meet one of you.  I'm excited.  Any guesses?

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

  2. You get to meet a blogger friend?? How exciting!! So happy for you. You are friends with so many, I have no guess. But don't keep us in suspense, tell us. Then give us a report afterwards! CaliMom and Meredith just met and both blogged about it. It was really neat to read about. :)

    1. We saw Three Day to Kill - a Kevin Costner movie. It was good for both of us, it wasn't all serious but enough action to keep Ray happy. Always popcorn, it's not a movie w/o popcorn.

I'm sure we will have a fun time.

  6. How wonderful that you get to meet a fellow blogger too! It must be in the air, lol. Lots of us are meeting.... I can't wait to hear who it is and how it went.
I've always been curious - what is your favorite part of living & traveling in an RV, and what is the hardest part; and would you ever exchange it for a different lifestyle? And was this what you and Ray had always planned on or was it something you just slipped into.

    1. I saw that you got to meet Mere. How fun. I'm really looking forward to the meeting IRL.

As far as living, very easy housekeeping not very big. My favorite part of living is that we get to spend lots of time with our loved ones instead of just a week or ten days.
I think it has always been a dream of Ray's and I am ready to exchange it after this next go round in California.

When we bought the RV we were just going to use it to get cross country and then settle. I guess we just haven't settled yet. lol

    1. Stay tuned for the meet - details will be released on Sunday. Not necessarily here.

We saw 3 days to Kill - Kevin Costner who I have always thought was easy on the eyes. The move was cute - lots of action for Ray and relationship stuff for me.

    1. We are still visiting, he has a large piece of property and our RV is occupying a piece of it until the middle of May. I am happy for him too. He is a sweetie, of course, I may be a bit prejudice.

Thanks for your good thoughts on the 'meet up'. Wish all of us could do it.
