T is for Tornado and Thanks

Today was a day that I will remember for a long time.  I have been fortunate enough to never experience a tornado but today I came very close.  We are still in Texas, outside of Dallas and the tornadoes today were the worst in Dallas history.  We gathered up the kitties in their crates and moved out of the RV and into the house. Unfortunately, my SIL and her mother were on their way to the doctors for a cancer treatment.  Luckily, they were running late and were just behind the storm.  My brother was in the area and fortunately had an appointment in a building that provided a modicum of shelter.  My niece and her girls were on a plane out of DFW before the storms were in the area.  God blest our family today and I thank Him for this blessing and the fact that apparently, at least as of now, no one was hurt in this storm.  When I saw the live feed and the aftermath it is a miracle.

  3. Sunny, geeze! Thank for posting. One thing I don't like about blogging is that you can't call or run by when you don't hear from your friends and I am a worrier. I do than God you are all safe. That must have been so scary. Email sometime when you get the chance.

    Big old hugs,
    PK

  7. Faerie, Ronnie, PK, Susie, Abby, Dancingbarez. Thank you all for your concern about our well being. We were so lucky. It is amazing to me that all those storms and damage and no one was killed. God was really watching.

  8. I came to say thank you for stopping by again and then I read this post. So, I echo the others---glad your family is safe. I live in a State not far away so it is a scary season and never want to go through one of those.
