The Gift

Some time ago, a friend gave me a gift.  Now I know you are supposed to be gracious and accept gifts in the spirit in which they are given. Sorry to say I was not gracious about receiving this gift, not at all.   It was not something I would ever buy for myself or for anyone I cared about.  Obviously, my friend had different thoughts on the matter based on information from others.

My so-called ‘friend’ said I had to share this particular gift with Ray. It was against my better judgment but after being so ungracious about receiving the gift, it was the least I could do. Therefore, I passed it on to Ray.

He was excited and much more grateful than I.  He said he was sure it would get much use.  I wasn’t so convinced but he seemed determined. He wasn’t even sure how to use it correctly but he flexed it a couple of times and loved the fact that it did not hurt his wrist as much as some other items.  He also mentioned how quiet it seemed as he tested it against his thigh.

Two nights later, the reckoning arrived.  Determined to be a good sport, but fearful nonetheless, I went to the bedroom like a prisoner walking his last mile.  Ray was standing there, ready and waiting for me, wearing an evil grin and holding that horrible thing in his hand. He invited me to my place and helped arrange me to fully accept what he was about to offer.

“Are you ready?” he asked.

“As ready as I am ever going to be,” I replied

The first swish struck, then the second and third in quick succession.

“Are you alright?” he inquired.

“Quite,” I answered.

And he proceeded to ply that rataan cane.  Now I have to tell you, he did not use full strength, more like a series of taps that increased intensity as it continued, nor did he use a full swing.

Unfortunately, in the midst there was a knock on the door.  The session was over and I was left without a dance partner. There hasn’t been a repeat performance since then.

I do have to tell you, and DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, tell PK or Ronnie, that I rather liked it.  However, I reserve the right to change my opinion at a later date if said implement is used under different circumstances.

The Weapon of Arse Destruction

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

  1. ROFL Sunny...and you were less than gracious when you received it! Here's hoping that Ray doesn't use a full swing or full strength. ;)

  2. Uff, SG I see that PK has bad influence on you.
Some limits should never be crushed, sometimes just out of principle .. lol.
Pack it in fine paper and send it back to PK, so she can use it to support any large potted plant ..

  4. SG :)

I said to PK, had I been joining you, the cane would have been my gift to you.

Personally, I think every women should try the cane at least once and I know you'll come to love it as much as I do. Tell Ray, I think he used it quite correctly for the first time.

    Love,

    1. Ronnie,

I hate to say you were right, at least based on my limited experience.

  5. Hmmm… Glad to know I'm not being hunted down just yet. It doesn't have to be awful, but it can turn that way quickly. I would also like to point out that had Ray been using something else you might have had to explain some strange noises to whomever knocked - or at least wonder if they heard. Sad that the quiet implements are always the worst. And don't worry - I won't tell anyone.

  6. Yeah for Ray for knowing how to 'introduce" you properly to the cane. The sting can be delicious....or not.

  7. I was wondering how you would like the cane, or not. I am fascinated by the idea of them, but still to chicken to try one.

    1. I was with you 100% Faerie, you can't imagine how surprised I was and I hate admitting it. Of course, it was only the initial foray and limited at that, so we'll have to see what happens in the future.

A note here - remember how you used to feel about the belt?

  9. Hi Sunny, what a brave woman you were. My John doesn't use it at full strength either thank goodness. I am glad you liked it and a good job it is quiet if you have visitors come a-knocking in the middle of it all!

    1. Yes it is quiet implement. Ray will never use it at full strength. Well, if he did, it would only be once because it would be destroyed afterward.

  10. That does look a nice thin, gentle looking little cane. The ones they used in our school seemed much thicker and made the air sing as they swished towards your hand. Maybe I wouldn't mind a little thing like that.... Especially if it is quiet...

Glad you had an enjoyable session. Most encouraging.

    1. Ronnie sent two to PK and she wanted to share.

We didn't have canes, we had nuns with rulers.

I was so surprised, of course it all depends on strength and swing, but my first experience was very nice and very quiet.

  12. It is always the things we least expect to like. Bummer, at the knock upon the door!

Man I must be doing something wrong or I need tutoring! A cane would make me want to RUN! I am such a whimp!

Just kidding...Any implement can be nice if gentled right!

  14. I will not tell anyone about your new favorite implement. But we will talk after it is really used the way that it should be. I had a friend who sent me and Ty a lexan paddle. Ty loved her and it and I lover her but not the paddle. Friends?????

    1. Don't. See my above comment to Irish Lucky.

Lexan paddle, I stupidly bought one of those. It has since disappeared. There is no easy with that damn thing - it hurts like hellfire.

    2. If I send you the lexan, would you put it in your secret place too. Actually, since my friend who gave us the paddle kind of disappeared from my life, I can't stand to use the paddle cause it makes me too sad. So it is collecting dust. Anyone want a lexan, let me know.

    3. I tried giving mine away - no takers. So send it to me and I will be happy to put it in the "secret place", we can't have you feeling sad.

  15. Awesome! Glad you liked it. Any implement with the words cane or lexan sounds horrid or me. But as the saying goes, don't knock it til you try it.

    1. I tried the lexan and it is horrid. The cane, at least as it was used during my first experience, was definitely doable. Under different circumstances, don't know. Will keep you posted on any further use.

    1. I agree about the gentle taps, not sure I would like it under discipline circumstances and luckily I don't have that to contend with (only because I'm perfect. lol)
