I find that keeping a journal of happy things which have happened also helps because you can read through those experiences when you feel sad about the past. It helps me anyway.
Life is rarely as it seems - especially to someone looking at another person's life.
When I rode horses all the time, one of the most important lessons I learned very early on, was to get straight back on when I fell off. As the years have gone by, I try to apply that lesson to everything I do in life. Sometimes it's very tough and you think you are just going to have to give up and let go; but other times you achieve what you had never dreamed of.
This helps me gain perspective when looking at daily challenges! Thanks. I am going to look in the mirror and focus on the strength I see, not the mistakes.
All our mistakes teach us something valuable about life. We need to make mistakes to become better people, to teach us things about ourselves, our lives ..
Hmmm .... and then there are people who are punished for them make mistakes. This means that they are punished for their .... learn something .. lol .. Ok, .. I go now, it was just an easy joke .. lol ..
