Remember Me?

It's been a busy week as we try to settle in here in Texas.  We finally had some sunny days but it hasn't lasted - actually it's storming right now and expecting yucky weather for the next seven days.
My Arizona tan is fading away and rust is taking its place. 

Had a great surprise the other day.  My brother-in-law and a nephew drove down from Arkansas. They hung around for a few days and it was great to see them.  Wish my sister had accompanied them but she doesn't feel comfortable traveling any more.  

I feel like a fraud blogging here because there hasn't been any dancing in I don't know how long and I've had nothing to share. Unfortunately, it has disappeared and I'm not sure when or if it will return. Ray doesn't seem to be interested.  We've been through these valleys before, but as we get older they seem to take longer to climb back up to the peak.  

I heard from LSF earlier today.  My latest book is almost ready to release and here is the cover. I'll tell you a secret - the background is the view I see out my front door. I love working with these folks, they bend over backward to work with you and the best thing is they put up with me.  I am not easy.

Signing off now because the storm is raging outside and I want off the computer. We're expecting even heavier storms later on tonight so keep your fingers crossed the weather eases a bit - the kitty I'm babysitting doesn't like them at all. (P.S.- I'm not too crazy about them either.)

    Hey Sunny...sorry about the dreary weather...we have the same going here...am getting ready to shut down as we are beginning to get rumbles and are scheduled for storms the next week or so. Yuck...messes with my allergies something fierce. Love the cover of your new book...what a lovely view. Sending lots of positive energy that you and Ray get to dance soon. ;)

    Wish you were here - this is the prettiest time of year in NC. I think you put your finger on it. Valley's are expected, but that climb out is longer now. And too often the valley is just too comfortable, if not exactly perfect, to struggle with the climb.

    The cover is beautiful and you are lucky to have such a view. I hope the storms leave you alone.

    Hi Sunny, I hope the weather improves, nice view from your window. Hopefully the dancing will pick up a bit. I think we all go through these phases don't we? I fell smug about the book cos I have read it first :)

    Congratulations on the new book. It's a fine view out of your window. I don't think I could put a view out of my window on a cover, it isn't the slightest bit appealing. Hope the weather improves. I'm terrified of storms.

    That is some view you have....great news of the book. Hope the storms cleared quickly and the air was fresher...for a change we have had a run of great weather here.

    Hi Sunny, :) Your new book sounds WONDERFUL! I am very happy for you. And for me to have more to read when I get to reading again! LOL! I love your books!

    We actually have some pretty nice weather around these parts. Amazing, considering our winter... I'm thinking that a nice sandy beach would be... rather excellent really... Summer cannot come fast enough. Many hugs,
