Junk and Stuff
The other day I swtiched stuff out of the motor home and into the storage unit. Then I moved some stuff from the storage unit to the Goodwill pile.
How much do you want to bet I am going to have to replace one of those items very soon.
See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.
Oh I know. I've been cleaning out the basement and twice in the last year have had to re-buy something I was sure we didn't need anymore.
ReplyDeleteIt's a rule.
DeleteI think that might be one of the rules in Murphy's Law. You keep something for years then throw it away and two weeks later you have to buy what you got rid of.
ReplyDeleteYep I done that more times than I want to say :)
Bob
I am very well acquainted with Murphy.
DeleteIt's a sure bet!!! Been there too!
ReplyDeletehugs abby
And then some
DeleteLol done it so many times, hope you won't need any of it any time soon x
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to find out what it is.
DeleteYep, it is always the way isn't it? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sure is.
DeleteI've been itching to do some spring cleaning too...just waiting for it to feel like spring! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it's coming up next week isn't it?
DeleteSure not going to bet against you Sunny...it's an unwritten law when cleaning junk out! ;)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cat
That would be very smart.
DeleteHey Sunny, I wish you'd come this way and help me clear some stuff out! I so wish I wasn't a squirrel. But you're right, as soon as you throw something away, yep, you need a new one!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Ami
When you live in 32 ft of space, you learn what's important and what isn't you move to the storage use. Eventually, that gets filled and then you move that somewhere else.
DeleteThis is why I hoard stuff and have been spanked three times for not cleaning out my stash in the basement. Someone is going to need my racquetball racquet (although the closest court is 100 miles from here) and the clothing I still own with massive shoulder pads from the 80s....
ReplyDeleteI still have all the Halloween costumes I made for the kids.
Ian's Granny's collection of newspaper clipping from the Royal Family.
The (true, I swear) medical library of the long dead and gone village doctor. (No one would keep them and they were going to be thrown out - I saved them and stored them in a number of rubbermaid containers in Ian's office ) :(
It is hard to throw stuff out.....good for you Sunny. Call me if you need ancient medical advice or a Robin Hood costume for a four year old.
hugs
lillie
Hubby and I got such a laugh over this. I will be sure to call if I need a Robin Hood costume. I'm thinking you should go through those medical files to see what other treatments there may be for menopause. lol
DeleteI can see why Ian may be a tad upset. Just sayin'.
Oh yes, apparently I have a very strict policy of never throwing anything away until the day before I am sure to need it!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both.
DeleteOh yes, as soon as you get rid of something, especially if it's been lying around unused for quite awhile, you're sure to need it!
ReplyDeleteJudging by the responses we are all in the same boat, but we probably threw away the oar.
DeleteI don't think I'll bet on that one Sunny. Been there, done that. Maddening isn't it! Takes me ages to throw anything out!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Roz
That's because you know you are going to need it tomorrow.
DeleteBeen there, done that! :-)
ReplyDeleteCome join us in the boat without the oar. LOL
DeleteWell even if I am late to this I am sure I have you all beat. Come look at my basement. Can't walk through without stubbing a toe. If anyone gives me something I keep it, I may want to use it for a still life....or...! Now the piles of books....Hmmm. I have been banned from buying more books...ahem paper ones, more times than I can count.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised. E books became a lifesaver for you then, or at least a tush save
DeleteLol. Happens to me all the time! Something else I'm famous for, "I'll put this right here so I'll know where it is when I need it." Then can't remember where I put it.
ReplyDeleteHi, I call that my "secret place". Should it ever be found and it's secrets unleashed, there's no telling what might happen. lol
DeleteGlad you stopped by.
