Is Anyone Still Out There?

Happy Monday Everyone.

Dropping by to say hi to anybody that still tunes in.  I 'stole' this from a fellow blogger and FB friend- it's fun and I hope you all participate.

1.  Name something people hate to find on their windshield?   Ice

2. Name something a man might buy before going on a date?  Mouthwash

3. Name something you cook in the microwave? TV dinners

4. Name an item found in an old man's wallet? A very old condom

5. Something always stocked in the fridge?  Ice cubes

6. Name an item found in a Grandma's purse?  An old grocery list.

7. Sport where you might lose a tooth?  Rugy (or so I've heard)

8. Name a fruit that isn't round?  Banana

9. Name something you put on a Christmas tree?  Garland

10. Name five people that you think will do this?  PK, Ronnie, Ella, Katie T and Lindy (the person from whom I 'stole' it.)

Not sure when I'll post again - until then enjoy my Aimless Ramblings.

  1. Never was so much owed by so many to so few – Winston Churchill

  6. “We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause.” – Ronald Reagan
  7. “We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us.” – Winston S. Churchill

  12. “The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.” – President George Washington
  13. “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.” – Winston Churchill

I can't stress enough that your vote is needed now.  Our country is in need of intelligent leadership. Leadership that recognizes that words matter, that there is no need for a wall and thousands of troops on the border to stem the tide of 1000 impoverished people seeking a better life for themselves and their children, that climate change is real, that love triumphs over hate, that gun control is needed, that everyone deserves health care that actually covers their health needs without going into bankruptcy, and the list goes on.

DONT SHIRK YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO LET THEIR VOICE BE HEARD.
