Hard to believe but sometime within the next couple of days, a week at the most, my fifth book will be available. My publisher said the ebook market is flooded right now with spanking/erotica titles so I'm trying to get a head start on promotion. I read on FB that another author submitted twenty-seven books for publishing this year. I can't imagine being that prolific. So many books competing for the same market does explain fewer book sales and why promotion is more important than ever.
To those of you who follow my blog regularly, these characters may seem familiar. It's a more detailed look into their lives. I'll keep you posted as to the date it is released.
See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.
I would rather read a few good books than a dozen so so books. Hate to say it but most spanking fiction isn't worth my time.
ReplyDeletePs. I read yours
Thanks for the compliment Rose.
DeleteI do have to tell you that some I read prior gave me the courage to give writing a try. I figured they couldn't be worse. :-)
I will look for your book. Good luck Leigh.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
joey
Thanks Joey - I appreciate it.
DeleteHey Sunny...I agree with Rose...I am very picky about my books...especially spanking fiction...has to have great characters and a really good story line. Many of the so so 'authors' could take lessons from you, PK, Ana and several others. :D
ReplyDeleteHugs and Blessings...
Cat
Thank you Cat. It's nice to be included in that group.
DeleteSG,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new book. I recently read about the markers being floodd with ebook erotic/spanking but I bet half of them are not worth the read.
Love,
Ronnie
xx
Yes, 50 Shades definitely opened the flood gates.
DeleteCongratulations on the new book Sunny! I enjoyed the glimpses we have had of these characters to date and look forward to the release.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Roz
Thanks Roz. Should be this weekend sometime.
DeleteI am sooooooo looking forward to reading your new book. You are a clever and prolific writer.
ReplyDeleteThe erotic/spanking market is swamped? Oh well. Back to the drawing board.
Many hugs
Ami
Thank you Ami - clever and prolific, huh. Don't you dare stop writing, quality will always win out of quantity.
DeleteI'm looking forward to this one. I can't imagine writing that many books in a year - I feel like I spend most of my time writing and I might - might have four ready in one year. I know that there are a lot out there and I know I can't keep up - but I'll read everyone you write.
ReplyDeleteThanks PK, I feel the same.
DeleteCongratulations! That's quite an achievement!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Hermione
Thank you Hermione -
DeleteWell swamped or not I seem to try hard and read all of my tried and true!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for a more detailed look into their lives!
I hope you make it to summer soon. I get tired just thinking of the things you do on a daily basis. You need a box of calgon (am I dating myself?)
DeleteHI Sunny, I am looking forward to this one. I am a prolific reader so ....
