I can't believe it's already Friday and I haven't posted a thing all week. Not that I have anything to write about but I start to get utzy if I don't post at least something during the week. So bear with me and if I keep typing maybe something scathingly brilliant will pop up.
Had some great Mexican food and tequila on Monday, but other than that it's been a very quick week. Had some good news and some news that changed our summer plans, will probably post more about that later. Did a little writing this week for the first time in a while. I think the writing muse might be returning which is a good thing for this blog because I only had one story left to post. Now I'm good until the first week of June which will be here before I blink. PK is hoping for stories and I'm hoping for ideas.
Saw that one long time popular blogger is going private this week. So many bloggers have come and gone in the time I've been here, I can just imagine how many changes long time bloggers have seen. Nothing remains the same, does it? Bas is still the one I miss the most and I know I'm not alone in that. He was like a bright shiny comet, who came into our lives and was gone in a flash.
Ray is sneezing all over the place, I hope he's not getting a cold and if he is he better keep it to himself. I've had my share this year. Okay enough of this, and if you are still reading this blathering, it's finally over. Have a great weekend.
Hi Sunny, poor Ray, am sending him a hug, I am glad you are writing again, I do love reading
ReplyDeletelove Jan.xx
Thank you Jan, I passed your hug on to Ray. He appreciated your thoughts and the hug.
DeleteSG,
ReplyDeleteBlather away, I like it.
Good to hear you are getting into the swing of writing again. Hope its not a cold coming for Ray, maybe hay fever.
Have a great weekend,
Love,
Ronnie
xx
Thanks Ronnie. Ray has a cold, I think I'm going to quarantine him until he's better. lol
DeleteYou have a great weekend also.
I enjoyed your blathering Sunny :) Glad your writing muse is returning. Blogland is sn ever changing place. I miss Bas too.
ReplyDeletepoor Ray, I hope it isn't a cold, and that if it is he doesn't share it with you.
Hugs
Roz
Blathering it was, but thanks.
DeleteI'm into sharing but don't want Ray to share that cold.
I'll read anything you want to post. Nick has been plagued with allergies for weeks now so I'm sure he knows how Ray feels - hope it goes away soon. I couldn't begin to count the bloggers that have come and gone and there is always a sense of loss when they go. I heard from Bas' wife this week and she is doing well, although she misses him terribly. I think your description of Bas coming and going from our lives is extremely accurate.
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute. You know I suffer from allgergies and now the cottonwoods are in bloom. Oh joy.
DeleteRay has a cold and it better go away soon.
I know how many bloggers have come and gone in my two and 1/2 years so I can just imagine. So glad you hear from Lisa and that she is doing as well as can be expected. He definitely impacted so many people in his short time with us.
I am ver happy to hear your muse is returning, we all benefit from that. Bas sure was special....when i re-read my older entries i love to see his comments. If Ray has allergies he will be sneezing for a while, in these parts supposed to be one of the worst seasons ever...

Ray does have a cold. I'm the one with the allergies and I know all about this year's pollen. The netti pot and I have become best friends.
DeleteHi Sunny,
ReplyDeleteOh dear, who has left us and gone private? I didn't realize it has happened again.
Hugs,
Hermione
Stormy at Shelter in the Storm had a post that she was taking her blog private. There's been a couple of posts lately from other bloggers that sound very much like they may be leaving us too.
DeleteI hope Ray is feeling better and that you avoid his cold. Your blathering is "scathingly brilliant." I love that phrase. I remember Hayley Mills saying that in a movie when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Meg
If I don't avoid his cold, he is going to be sorry. :-). You mean Pollyanna (wasn't she Pollyanna) said that.
DeleteGlad your writing muse is returning but sorry Ray either has a cold or hay fever. We constantly have hay fever in this household. Enough pollen flying around to give us wings.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to blather away as often as you want, Sunny. We enjoy your ramblings no end.
Hugs
Ami
I'm the allergy junky in this house, Ray has a cold. Not sure which is worse, with a cold eventually it goes away.
DeleteThanks for your nice comment.
I love your blog! Hope YOU don't go private!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. :)
Not to worry. You have a great weekend too - hope you had a Friday nooner?
DeleteIt's fun to read your aimless ramblings - and looking forward to hearing more about your summer plans.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Cali
Thanks Cali. I think that Palm Springs is as far as we''ll be in Califonria this summer, darn it.
DeleteHave a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, you do the same.
DeleteHey Sunny...sorry Ray has a cold and happy your muse is returning. I sure do miss Bas also...he was such a special, loving man...we are all better for having known him.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of healing energy to Ray and positive thoughts that you don't catch his cold.
Hugs and Blessings...
