Spanking, What's That

It's Thursday and another week is almost gone and I haven't posted a thing. I can't say life is boring, how can life ever be boring, but it has been uneventful - and that's perfectly okay  Weather here has been great, not too hot during the day and so far cool in the evenings, a little humid  but what the hey.  One thing that's out in force though are the bugs and I must wear a sign that says 'free food'. The minute I start to feel them, I retreat to the inside.  One of the things I miss about Florida is the lanai, you could be outside but still inside.  It's funny because when I was there I remember thinking that I felt as if I lived in a cage.  I wish I had stock in Off, I would be my own best customer.

I've been busy working on posts for the June A to Z challenge that I will be participating in on my other blog. If you haven't heard, just click on the Spanking pic on the side and it will tell you what it's all about.  Basically, it's to draw readers to your site.  My other site definitely needs the help.  You wouldn't think it difficult to do come up with a daily post for the letter of the day, it surprised the heck out of me.  My mind would suddenly go blank.  I still have the worst letters yet to go but I have some ideas which is a start

No spanking in sight, but Ray did surprise me twice in the last couple of weeks.  Once I was working in the kitchen and he was sitting on the sofa just watching tv (something unusual, lol) and he called me and told me to lean across the chair.  He is always finding something I've either sat in or backed into so I didn't think anything of it.  I backed into it alright.  That hand spanking hurt more than some with implements.  I asked him why and he said because he felt like it.  Loved the answer.  Wish he felt like it more often.  The other time was in my brother's house.  My brother's lady, Ray and I were cleaning up after dinner and he gave me a really loud hard smack on my bum.  We'll call her Jan, turned around and got wide eyed.  I suspect she and my brother play at it too based on what I've observed and a couple of hints, but neither one of us has broached the subject yet.  We've done vibrators so it probably isn't far behind.

Fate Steps In (continued)

Happy Memorial Day to everyone in the United States.  It always signals the start of summer here and for most, it's a three day weekend.  Once upon a time it used to be May 30th but that didn't always make for a long weekend so they changed it to the last Monday in May.  Hope you have lovely weather wherever you are and plans to enjoy the unofficial start of summer.

Let's take a minute out of our day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Do you recognize these names, this is a peek into their lives after last week's story.  To read from the beginning, click here.  There is not more after this, at least not at this time.  :-)

Cathi, Justin, and Brady were becoming a familiar sight around town.  Tongues were wagging that Cathi had found herself a boyfriend.  It was true.  Justin had all the qualities she longed for in a partner.  He was front and present, sometimes a little too front and present.  They were in the midst of their first real disagreement.

Justin came from a military family and was used to things running on a schedule and by the book.  Cathi was more flexible than that and she complained about the rigidity to Justin, especially when it came to Brady.  She loved that little boy.  He had wormed his way into her heart and carved out a piece for himself and she anointed herself his champion.

“You should be used to this, you were married to a military man.”

“Dale was my husband first and a military man second.  Besides, he was not always military.  In between tours he was a civilian and was much more flexible.”

“So what happened when he wasn’t so flexible?” Justin asked with all sincerity.

“We worked it out?”

“How exactly did you work it out?”

“We would talk things over, I would offer my opinion and we would come to a decision.”

“And who made the decision?”

“It depended upon what the decision was about.  If it pertained to a household issue or my job, nine times out of ten I would make the decision.  If it came to cars, finances, things of that sort, Dale would decide.  Of course, while he was on duty, I made all the decisions.”

“And that worked for you?”

“For the most part.”

“And, when it didn’t?”

“You’re trying to get me to say that he made all the major decisions and it was my job to go along with the program. Your next question is probably going to be if I always went along willingly or had to be coerced into agreement.  The answer is yes, there were times I needed coercement.  And yes, the coercement usually came after he spanked me.  Are you happy now?

“Here comes that saltiness again.”

“Well, what do you expect?  You keep pushing and pushing and I’m not one to stand around and take it.  I push back.”

“I like that and I never want you to hold back.  I just want you to do it in a respectable manner.  I will try and be less “GI Joe” and more Justin.   One thing though, when it comes to Brady, we have to be a united front.  I know you think I’m too hard on him at times, but any disagreement you have with my methods are to be discussed privately, not in front of Brady.  Do you agree?”

“Yes.”

“So, you’ll explain to Brady that you were wrong and after we talked it over we agreed he can go to the Memorial Day parade but not his friend’s  party because he neglected to do his chores.”

Reluctantly, she agreed.

“I want you to know that I am going to give him additional chores because he went to you after I already told him no.  He has to learn that I make the final decisions.  It may not seem so important now but it might later in life and it’s good to lay the groundwork.  I want you to know I appreciate how you love Brady and treat him as your own.  I wouldn’t have it any other way, but I also want you to know it will be that way with any future children that may come our way.”

She nodded and went off to find Brady and give him the bad news.  In her heart, she knew Justin was right but she wanted to be the good guy and it backfired.

                                  ____________________________

Justin and Brady were living in temporary base housing.  He wanted out of there as soon as possible and his realtor was beginning to despair of ever meeting all of his needs when he finally found one he wanted.

The home was located close to Brady’s school and Cathi’s present home. The three- bedroom ranch with a walkout basement and fenced yard was perfect.  Even the price was right.  He took Cathi by to see it but it was only an accommodation, he was buying this house.   After closing, he asked Cathi and his sister for help in decorating inside, he took care of whatever changes he wanted to make on the outside.

He was proud of how it turned out and decided to host a barbecue for Memorial Day.  He invited his fellow staffers, Cathi’s friends, his sister and her family to stop by after the parade.
Hamburgers and hot dogs were the menu of the day and if anyone asked he suggested they bring a side.  Cathi wouldn’t have to do a thing, just be her normal charming self.

.
The day of the parade was perfect - not too hot or windy.  Cathi enjoyed the marching troops and listening to John Phillip Sousa music.  She especially loved watching the older veterans with a spring in their step showing their pride served their country.  It brought a tear to her eye as she watched Justin present his squad.  He looked so wonderful in his uniform and she sighed and thanked her lucky stars he was a part of her life. She remembered earlier parades watching Dale marching with his unit and silently thanked the men and women, including Dale, who gave their lives for the cause.

As the parade started to wind down, Cathi excused herself a little early to be at the house for any early guests.   Cathi took Brady with her so Justin could spend time with his unit.

“Where’s Brady?” Justin asked when he walked in. “He needs to do his chores.”

“What chores?” she asked.

“The extra chores I assigned him.  He is supposed to be helping us with the party.  I figured it would keep him busy so he wouldn’t be bored with all the adults.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know.  “He’s out back playing with Chad and Jeremy Jenkins.  Their dad dropped them off earlier.”

“Did you agree to watch the Chad and Jeremy?”

“No, I actually invited both them and their parents.  I thought Brady would be bored,” she responded timidly.

“You went against my wishes.  You knew he couldn’t go to the party so you decided to bring the party to him.  I’m very upset with your decision at the moment and we will be discussing this later.  Right now I have to go get Brady and remind him of his responsibilities.”

“Honey, can’t you just let it go.”

“No, I can’t.  That’s the easy way and it would not be nearly as bad if you hadn’t interfered.”

Cathi felt awful.  She knew she shouldn’t have done it but she felt bad for Brady not being able to attend his friend’s party.  If only Justin had let her know what he planned for Brady.  Of course, if she had minded her business, it wouldn’t be an issue.  I don’t think this is going to end well for either one of us, she thought to herself.

People came and went all afternoon and Justin saw to it that Brady helped with the party rather than playing with his friends.  He was a stern taskmaster.

The party was about over when two more people arrived.  Justin was floored when he looked up to see his parents standing in the doorway.  They had flown in from Washington and had planned to be  there in time for the parade but there was a travel mix-up.
Lt. Commander Mark Jessup Davis was as commanding as his rank.  Cathi knew the apple had not fallen far from the tree.  He looked as if he brooked no disrespect or disobedience.  Minna was an older version of Justin’s sister, as gracious as could be.  Brady came running up and into the arms of his grandpa.  Suddenly, Lt. Commander Mark Jessup Davis didn’t look so intimidating, he looked like every other doting grandpa.  Cathi wasn’t as intimidated as before.

“Cathi, I’d like to introduce my parents.”

“Mom and Dad, this is Cathi Jackson and one of these days, if we can work out a couple of wrinkles and she’ll still have me, will be Cathi Jackson Davis. ”

Cathi stood there speechless as Minna Davis reached over and kissed her cheek and Mark gave her a big hug. Justin took her hand and whispered in her ear “sorry it just slipped out”.

Cathi spend the rest of the evening, slipping between reality and walking on clouds.  Was that a proposal?  She assumed it was.  Was he waiting for an answer? She would have to ask him.  Justin’s sister and her family left and it was down to his parents and Brady.  Justin told Brady to head off to bed and after some grumbling, he did as he was told.

Minna and Mark Davis were booked in a hotel and were about to call it an evening when Justin asked if they would stay a little longer.  He told them he wanted to take Cathi home and talk about some unfinished business.  Cathi turned red and Minna, seeing her reaction gave her a sympathetic look and kissed her goodnight.  She knew all about “unfinished business.”

The minute they were in the car, Cathi asked Justin if he meant what he told his parents.

“I meant every word and I’m sorry that’s the first you’ve heard of it.  It’s something I’ve been thinking about almost from the first time we met.  It wasn’t the proposal I intended and I will be doing a much better job in a few days, if you’ll let me.”

“Justin, it’s so soon, are you sure?”

“I’m sure,  and I’ll ask if you’re sure once this night is over.  Being a Davis comes with certain conditions.  When we get to your house we will discuss those conditions.”

Cathi knew deep down inside just what those conditions involved and it didn’t matter to her.  Her marriage to Dale was a happy one and she knew she could expect nothing less with Justin, it was just getting through the ‘conditions’.

                                           _______________________

Sure enough, the minute they were in Cathi’s living room, Justin began his lecture.

“You know I plan to spank you, don’t you?  If this is not something you want now or in the future, you have to let me know now.  I’ll get over it, but I won’t like it.  If you agree, this will be the only time I ask, from this day forward if I think you deserve it or need it, I will spank your ass.  What do you think about that?”

“If the air force puts its trust in you, I think I can.  So yes, you have my permission.”

“Okay, let’s get started.”

In true take charge fashion he ordered her to the bedroom.  He sat down on the bed and had her stand between his knees.  Justin lectured her on how her disrespect and disobedience regarding Brady made him feel.

“We all have to answer to someone Cathi and have to obey the rules.  There’s a reason.  What do you think would happen if I didn’t obey my superior officer or my men didn’t obey me.  There would be chaos.  The same is true in a marriage.  Someone has to be in charge.”

By the time he was finished, tears were rolling down Cathi’s cheeks.

“I’m sorry too.  Now take down your pants and panties and lay across my lap.”

“Do I have to do it, can’t you?”

“Yes, I can, but I’m asking you and it is a matter of submission and obedience.  Now please, be a good girl, and remove your pants and panties and lay across my lap.”

Crying even harder now, she obeyed his commands.  He made sure she was comfortable as possible with her head laying on the bed, her torso across one knee with her tush exposed.  He tucked her in close and began rubbing circles on the area he was about to punish.   Cathi could feel the wetness pooling in her lower regions and enjoying his touch, when the first slap came down on her right cheek.

“ooh” she sucked in her breath.

“Are you okay?” he asked.  She nodded.

“I believe the correct response is “Yes, sir.”

“You’ve got to be kidding,” and she received a slap on her left cheek.

“No I’m not kidding.  I’ll ask again.  Are you okay?”

“Yes,” came the answer.  Another flurry of spanks hit both cheeks.

“Ow,ow ow.” She exclaimed.

“Are you ready to give me the response I’m looking to receive?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Okay, now we’ll get this spanking underway.

Justin delivered more warm-up spanks and then began to color her flesh.  He watched that beautiful rounded butt go from white to pink to red and then to cherry red.  Cathi was howling when he stopped.

“Are you going to disobey or disrespect me anymore?”

“No sir,” she said sobbing.

“Good girl.”  He gave her another two spanks on each cheek and tried to rub away some of the sting.  He held her on his lap and when she was ready, stood her up and kissed away her tears.

“Do you still want to be my wife and Brady’s mom?” he asked

“Yes, sir.”

“The sir is not necessary now, only when you are being disciplined.”

“Yes, sir.”

He slapped her newly punished butt.  “The saltiness returns.”

She laughed and thought today is a Memorial Day I will remember.  Along with the usual parades and fanfare, it’s the day I got a proposal, met my new in-laws and got a spanking.  That’s a lot to stuff into one day.

Did you manage to get lots to stuff into today?  Was it memorable? I hope so and hope the weather was good to you.  See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

Fate Steps In

Hey there.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  It was perfect weather here.  Love this time of year.  Today I saw the three little goslings from the Canadian Geese that live down by the pond in the back.  The first I've seen them - we had some last year too but unfortunately they were swooped up by either the coyotes or hawks.  They're so cute and their parents are so vigilant.  Not sure if it's the momma or poppa, but he/she spreads her wings and herds them back to the pond if danger is sensed.  We have several geese and I swear they are always on patrol - they're like the neighborhood watch.

Anyway, here's this week's story.

Cathi Jackson was returning home from yet another blind date.  Her friends were constantly fixing her up with some brother-in-law, cousin, actually any breathing single male, was a candidate as far as they were concerned.  Tonight was the last time – she’d had it.  They may be great guys for someone but not for her.

She had already had the perfect guy once and everyone else was coming up short. Dale Jefferson Jackson had put his shoes under her bed for twenty-one years. They met in college when Dale, a member of Reserve Officer’s Training Corps, contacted Cathi to arrange a color guard for a program Cathi was heading. Once he met her, he used the phone number for personal reasons. They married right out of college. Cathi got a job teaching 2nd grade and Dale went to work for the Department of Juvenile Justice.  They joked that he was DJJ of DJJ. Life was good for them.  Every summer he would go off to his two weeks of National Guard duty until September 11th.  Everything changed after that. His unit was called to serve in Iran and Afghanistan for several tours and on the last tour, his unit didn’t return.  When she answered the door that fateful day, she didn’t think she would survive the pain.

That was two years ago and her friends were determined she had spent enough time grieving for what was and it was time to get down to what is.  She knew they were right and that Dale would agree with them.  Actually, by now he would have had her over his knee telling her exactly how silly she was acting, but she couldn’t take another blind date.
She knew that some of the younger teachers at work used the internet to meet people.  Come Monday she would get the names of the sites they used and do her own surfing from now on.  She couldn’t do any worse.

She was wrong.

So many of the responders, let’s just say, stretched the truth. With others, there was no chemistry.  She would always agree to meet them either for lunch or cocktails and always at a public place.   There were times she excused herself to go to the ladies’ room and never returned. She laughed the first time she did this thinking about Dale’s reaction to that behavior.  He would have been appalled at her rudeness but at the same time applaud her actions.

When she had just about given up hope of ever finding anyone even close to what she wanted, Justin Davis walked into her school.  He was in the military and had recently transferred to Lawton AFB. He came into the office to enroll his son Brady in school for the following September.  Cathi was filling in for Sheila, the usual registrar, who was off for a family emergency.  By the time all the paperwork was completed, Cathi knew Justin Davis was a widower and had transferred to Lawton because he wanted to settle in the area at the end of his military career which was coming at the end of the year.  He wanted Brady to have some stability in his life, and his sister and brother-in-law lived nearby, and he wanted Brady to grow up knowing family.

Justin was six feet of gorgeous.  He had dark hair, graying at the temples, with steel blue eyes, startling white teeth, that ramrod straight military posture, and a smile that could charm a snake.  It certainly charmed her. She hoped she wasn’t drooling on the outside because she sure was on the inside. All she had to do know was figure out a way to get him to ask her out.

Fate stepped in.  Cathi volunteered at the local animal shelter and on the following Saturday she was working the front desk when Justin and Brady Davis walked in.

“Ms. Jackson, are you lost?” he asked with a smile.

“I do a lot of volunteer work and on Saturday, I can usually be found here.”

“How does Mr. Jackson feel about your being gone all the time?”

“I’m a widow and the volunteer work fills up the emptiness.  Enough about me.  Are you here to adopt an animal?”

“Yes, Brady here has wanted a dog for sometime and now that we are going to settle, I think it’s time to grant his request.  Ain’t that right son?” he said as he tussled Brady’s hair. Brady nodded his agreement.

“Well, let’s get started.”  She led them to the cages and as Brady traversed the corridor, Justin and Cathi spent the time talking.  He asked her about her husband and was surprised to learn she was a military widow.  She learned his wife passed about the same time as Dale.

Right about then, Brady came running up to his dad and grabbing his hand.  “Come see the dogs I want Daddy.”

“We’re only getting one dog, son.” Cathi watched Brady deflate.  “But Daddy, the sign says their brother and sister.”

“I guess I better go take a look,” he told Cathi and went off with Brady.  Cathi went back up front.

A short time later, Justin and Davis came back to the counter.

“I guess I’m a pushover, we will be taking the two shelties,” he told Cathi.

“A pushover, huh, I doubt that.  I think you just have a soft heart.”

“You could be right.”  They completed the paperwork and were waiting for the doggies to be spiffed up when Brady spoke up.

“Hey, Ms. Jackson, why don’t you come over sometime and see Buddy and Bella? Is that okay with you Dad?”

“More than okay,” he said with a smile.  When the dogs were ready to leave, he gave her his card and asked her to write her number on the back.

Cathi said goodbye and walked back to the desk floating on a cloud.  Justin was the kind of man that could fit nicely into her life.  There would never be another Dale but there was room in her heart for another man, and in this case one man and a boy.

It was the following Sunday and she hadn’t heard from Justin. She felt sure there had been a connection and she was sorely disappointed he hadn’t called.  Her phone rang and she hoped it was him, it wasn’t.  It was her friend Melody asking her over for a barbecue.

“Why not, can I bring anything?” she asked.

“No just yourself.  There will be a couple of others here too,” Melody responded.

Oh God, Cathi thought to herself, please don’t let this be another fix-up.  I don’t think I can take it.

“Come anytime, we’ll be here.” Melody told her.

Cathi stopped off at the grocery store and picked up a bouquet for Melody.  She heard voices as she pulled up and followed the sound to the back deck.  To her surprise, there stood Justin.  He was in deep conversation with Melody’s husband Jim.

“Hello everyone,” she said as she stepped onto the deck.  Jim came over to give her a hug and Melody came out of the kitchen to greet her.

“Cathi, I would like you to meet Justin Davis. I met him at the base the other day,  and ran into him at the grocery store this morning and invited him over. He’s recently moved here with his son...”

“Brady, I know.  Captain Davis and I already met on a couple of occasions,” she said coolly.

“Hello, Justin.  How’s Brady and are Buddy and Bella settling in to their new home?”

“Brady’s fine now, he came down with a raging case of chickenpox last Saturday.  Buddy and Bella have been a handful, but they’ve kept Brady company.  My sister volunteered to take Brady to the movies today as a reward from being such a trooper.  Actually, I think it was more as a reward to me for getting through the week,” he said laughingly.

“I’m glad he’s better,” she told him and turned away.  He followed her and touched her shoulder.  She turned back to him.

“Are you angry with me?” he asked

“No, of course not,” she responded.

“Then what’s with the cold shoulder?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about?” she told him.

“I think you do.”

“You don’t know me well enough to think you know me.”

“No, I don’t, but I would like to get to know you. So far today though, I feel like I’m getting the brush off.”

“Okay, you’re right.  Maybe I was giving you the brush off.  I was a little miffed when I didn’t hear from you this week.  Now that I’ve had time to process what you told me about Brady I’m a little embarrassed about what I was thinking.”

“Thank you for being honest.  I’m a little rusty on this dating thing and I probably should have called you, but I didn’t.  In the future, I’ll do better.  That is, if I’m forgiven.”

“Yes, you’re forgiven,” she said with a smile.

“Just for the record, when I ask someone a question, I always expect an honest answer,” he told her.

“Yes, sir,” and gave him a salute.

“No need to be salty.”

“That’s what my husband used to say.”

“Oh really, and what did he do about your saltiness?”  He saw her blush.

“Yeah, that’s what I figured.  The same way I deal with saltiness,” and he laughed again.

Melody saw Cathi blushing and came over to join the conversation.

“What did you say to my friend to make her blush, Captain Davis?”

“Just a private conversation and please call me Justin. I’m in my civvies today.”

The rest of the afternoon was fun.  Justin and Cathi teamed up for horseshoes against Melody and Jim.   Justin found out that Cathi was very competitive and when they switched partners later he made her a bet that the loser would be fixing dinner for the other next Saturday night.  Cathi won.

She arrived at Justin’s rental house the following Saturday and was greeted by Buddy and Bella.  She could already tell they ruled the household, not matter was Justin might think.  Brady wasn’t far behind and lead her into the kitchen where Justin was hunched over the sink cleaning vegetables.  He looked so cute in an apron over his head and tied in the back.

“I wish I had a camera,  Captain Justin Davis in an apron slaving over the sink cleaning veggies, what a picture.  I bet the guys in your section would love to see it.”

“You haven’t even said hello yet and you’re already starting with the saltiness.  I think someone needs a reminder about what happens to sassy girls.”

He dried his hands and came over to greet her.  She backed away and he laughed.

Dinner was great.  Justin was a good cook and after dinner she and Brady had KP duty while Justin sat and watched.

He loved the way she related to Brady.  Of course, she was a teacher and knew about children, that was a definite plus.  He hadn’t dated much since his wife passed and it was important to him that anyone he brought into his life knew it was a package deal.  She was a looker with her long shiny brown hair and hazel eyes.  She had curves too, he liked that, he wasn’t into bags of bones. He was starting at her and she turned around and caught him.

“A penny for your thoughts.”

“Only a penny, hardly worth sharing.”

“Now, who’s being salty.”  She grabbed the towel off the counter and whipped it at him.  Brady laughed and joined in the action.

“No fair, I’m in charge and don’t either of you forget it.” Justin said.  Bella and Buddy heard the ruckus and joined in the fray.

After they finished up in the kitchen, they played monopoly in the living room.  About 9:00 Justin told Brady it was time to hit the sack.

“Aw Dad, can I stay up a little longer?”

“No, it’s adult time.  Now take Buddy and Bella outside and then truck  on upstairs.”

Brady obeyed but he went with a slouch to his shoulders and a lag in his step.

“What an actor.  You’d think I just sent him to prison,” and he laughed.

When Brady came back in and bid them goodnight,  Justin joined Cathi on the sofa.
“This is what I miss the most,” Justin said.  A fun filled family evening.  Thank you,” he whispered into Cathi’s ear.

“You’re welcome.  Know what I miss the most?” she asked.

“What?”

“Being with a man that I can relax around and be myself. I love that you are both strong and gentle, have a great sense of humor, love your son to pieces, can cook and most of all, recognize saltiness for what it is.”

“You know what else I miss.  I miss putting my hand to a salty girl’s bottom and I think the drought is over,” and he laughed.

“I think it just might be.” She answered and offered a silent thank you to Dale who she was sure engineered this entire thing.

Now before I start getting questions about continuing this storyline, let me tell you that next week's story takes you further into their relationship, so I hope you enjoyed it.

Coming Soon

Hard to believe but sometime within the next couple of days, a week at the most, my fifth book will be available. My publisher said the ebook market is flooded right now with spanking/erotica titles so I'm trying to get a head start on promotion.  I read on FB that another author submitted twenty-seven books for publishing this year. I can't imagine being that prolific. So many books competing for the same market does explain fewer book sales and why promotion is more important than ever.

To those of you who follow my blog regularly, these characters may seem familiar. It's a more detailed look into their lives.  I'll keep you posted as to the date it is released.

Lighting Her Fire

Billie Jo was so excited when she got the call she won the radio contest.  The prize was a ten-day trip for two to St. Martin, all expenses paid. She couldn’t wait to get in touch with Ethan.  They were trying to plan a vacation like this for years, but it was always about time and money.  Now the money part wasn’t going to be an issue, they had to work out the time.  There was no way she was giving up this trip.  She knew she would be able to get the time; Ethan was the problem.

He was a paramedic/fireman and his schedule was set weeks/months in advance.  Although he was, by no means, the lowest man on the totem pole, he wasn’t the captain either. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy so anything not above exactly by the books was out of the question.

No-nonsense kind of guy didn’t even begin to cover it.  She met him when she moved to Bailey.  She had been a city dweller most of her life and when she graduated from college she determined she wanted to live in a less urban area.  She applied for jobs in school districts in rural areas and when she heard from the Platte County Unified School District, she was elated.  They set up a Skype interview and after passing the initial interview, she had to fly in for the final interview.  She loved the area and decided to accept a position if it was offered.  It was and two months later, she had packed up her possessions in a u-haul trailer and moved to Bailey.  She rented a little house outside of town.  It used to be a summer home but the owners no longer used it and offered a rent to own program that suited Bill Jo to a tee.  She immediately began working on her to do list and on the top of the list was to paint the outside.  She wanted it to blend into the landscape and the current color didn’t fit at all.  On the second day of painting, she somehow upset the ladder and it and the paint can tumbled to the ground.  She was able to hang on to the roof eave and somehow managed to climb onto the roof for safety.  The only problem was she was stuck with no way down.  Well, no way down until she spotted the limb of a nearby tree calling her name.  She thought she would be able to reach the limb and climb down from there.  The next thing she knew she was laying on the ground with two unfamiliar faces staring at her.

Enter Ethan Wentworth.  That was the first time she met him.  Once determined there was nothing broken, they wanted to transport her to the hospital.  She refused to go and although he and his partner tried to convince her otherwise, she remained steadfast.  He shook his head and started packing up their equipment.  They made her sign a release and they were on their way back to the station.

The next time she met him was at a local blood drive.  He and several of his associates were there to assist the local Boy Scout troop collecting food for their upcoming food drive. She went over and introduced herself.  He remembered her and asked if she had climbed any trees lately.  Before she left that day, he asked her on a date.

Ethan swept Billie Jo off her feet.  He was less than six feet but not by much.  He had dirty blond hair that curled over his collar and around his ears, with hazel eyes and wide shoulders, a muscled torso and a butt that fit into well-worn jeans that looked as if they were sculpted to him. When he opened the car door for her and buckled her into the seat, she caught a whiff of his cologne that hinted of sandalwood and spice. He took her to the county fair and they spent the day playing the carny games, riding the rides and eating fair food.  He couldn’t believe she could eat all that junk and still be the size she was, but he loved it.  She was in great lust. After a full day of sniffing his manly scent and eyeing that scrumptious body, she was ready to jump him, or jump out of her skin.   He was driving her crazy and he was being the perfect gentleman, attentive and patient.  Damn him, she thought to herself, why doesn’t he make a move. Doesn’t he like me?

Little did she know, she was having the same effect on him.  He loved the look of her. She reminded him of what they used to call an All American Girl.  Her long brown hair glistened in the sunlight; and her green eyes glinted with mischief. She had the cutest smile and her naturally tanned skin told him she enjoyed being outdoors. Her short unpainted, raggedy fingernails showed she did things other than lounging around a pool, things like painting her house.  He loved the clean smell of her – she smelled like soap and not some cloying fragrance.  I don’t want to push too hard too fast, but damn I’m having a tough time keeping my hands from touching her, he had to keep reminding himself.

Seven dates later, he still had not kissed her. He would hold her hand but that’s as far as it went. That night she took matters into her own hands.  When he came to the door, she grabbed him inside and began physically attacking him. She practically climbed up his body and whispered directly into his ear the things she planned on doing to his body.

“Whoa, girl.  What’s going on here?”

“I’m tired of waiting for you to take this to the next level.”

“Let’s get something straight, Billie Jo.  I am always the man in any relationship and I call the shots. You’ll have a say but I’ll make the decision when we take this to the next level and anything else that comes along.”

“Oooh, I like that.  Domineering. I bet you are a fierce lover.”

“I can be.”

“Fierce or domineering?”

“Both and not just in the bedroom.”  She felt his eyes boring into her and leaving her feeling naked and defenseless.  He slapped her ass and told her to behave herself.

She recalled that conversation as if it were yesterday instead of ten years ago.  He made her wait two more dates before they made love.  He was as domineering and fierce as she expected both in and out of the bedroom.  She soon learned he was in charge and when she overstepped her bounds, she found herself over his knee. Once they were married, they were always bare bottomed spankings and she swore that for the first year, she had a permanently sore red tush.

She knew he loved her fiercely and for the most part was able to have everything she wanted.  She need only approach things in a calm, respectful manner.  Billie Jo was a very spirited gal and it was not always easy to maintain that attitude when it was something she really wanted.  This trip to St. Martin was one of those things.

The first thing Ethan did when he came home from the station was hop into the shower.  He always said it cleansed his body and his mind of the travails of the day.  Today, when he stepped out of the shower she would be waiting for him, poising seductively and wearing his favorite teddy.

Ethan saw her and knew something was up, and decided to play along with the game.

“What’s up, Babe?”

“Nothing, sweetie.  I really missed you today.”

“Are you sure there isn’t anything wrong?”

“Wrong, no, nothing.”

“Is there something you need to tell me?”

“Why would you think that?  Honey, you wound me.  I just want my husband and here you are accusing me of trying to manipulate you.”

“I’m sorry I accused you,” he said as he moved toward the bed.  He lay down beside her and took her in his arms.  She told him to roll over and she would relieve some of the tension in his shoulders.

“The shower helped that, but I do need some attention in other areas,”

She received the message loud and clear as she spied him moving his hips in a suggestive manner. She moved down the bed to take care of her husband’s tension.  Once his tension was relieved, they continued their dance.

“That was incredible, Babe.  Thank you for making my day.”

“Sweetheart, you are more than welcome.”

He hopped off the bed and watched her lay there, relaxed and stretching, thinking she had pulled one over on him.  Here comes the fun part.

“So Babe, Jake was listening to the radio this morning and heard that someone named Billie Jo Wentworth was the winner of their most recent contest.  Isn’t it ironic there are two people with the exact same name?”

He watched her eyes widen and instead of stretching, she began squirming.

“So honey, isn’t that ironic?”

“Damn you, you knew already and yet still strung me along.”

“Honey, I gave you more than one opportunity to come clean, didn’t I?  Besides, I love watching you go through your antics and I loved the hummer, but you know you have a spanking coming for lying, don’t you?”

“Oh, Babe, I didn’t really lie.”

“Don’t make it worse on yourself, Sweetie.  Do you want to get it over with now or wait til later?

She sighed.  “Later,” hoping that maybe he would forget, not that he ever had.

Her evening was now ruined. She hated that she had chosen to wait until later, she should have just agreed and now it would be over.   Dinner was quiet, and when they sat down to watch TV later, he asked her about the prize. She gave him as many details as she knew holding the catch until the last.  When she finally told him the trip had to be completed by the end of April, he knew why she hadn’t blurted everything out right away. He knew he would make it work, no matter what he had to do to get the time.  This trip was a dream come true and Ethan loved Billie Jo and couldn’t let her down but that didn’t mean he wouldn't make her squirm a little longer.

“Sweetheart, you know getting time off on such short notice is difficult.”

“I know, but I really want to go on this trip and I have to tell you, I’m not letting it slip through our fingers.”

“What are you saying, Babe?” he asked.

“I’m saying I’m going on that trip.  I want you to go with me, but one way or the other I’m going.”

“I sure hope that’s not a threat.”

“No threat, just a fact,” she told him.

“Well, here’s another fact.  It’s time and you know the drill.”

He watched her trudge to the bedroom as if she was walking the last mile.  When he came in, he found her sitting on the bed waiting for him.  Their last conversation was going to make this a little easier.  His resolve to spank her had lessened the longer the evening wore on.  However, her last little bit of defiance, the spunk he loved, toughened his resolve.

He sat down on the bed and told her why she was being spanked, and then asked if she had anything to say.  When she nodded her head no, he pulled her over his lap.  He always began the spanking over clothes and as the spanking progressed, he would first either lift her skirt or lower her jeans, and then finally would lower her panties. That was her signal that the real spanking was about to begin in earnest.  Tonight was no exception, she swore his hand was as tough as a plank of wood and she would feel the fire he lit in her bottom every time she sat down tomorrow.  When he was finished, he held her, comforted her and then tucked her into bed.  When he climbed in next to her, she cuddled into him and fell into a blissful sleep.

He let her squirm for another ten days before he told her he had managed to get the time they needed to make the trip.  The day they boarded the plane bound for St. Martin, he told her that his reward for putting up with the haranguing he had to take at the station about being pussy whipped,  was that he would spank her every single day of their trip.

“Well, then I guess we won’t be visiting Orient Beach.”

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t want everybody seeing your handprints on my bare ass.”

“That’s okay, because I don’t want anybody seeing your bare ass anyway,” and settled back into his seat for the long flight thinking about her bare ass in that bikini she had tucked away in their luggage.
