The Sound of Silence

  • Photo

Isn't this a beautiful serene picture for a Sunday morning?  I enjoy walking in the forest away from the madding crowd and listening to the sounds of silence.  Except it's not really silence, it's the sounds of nature.  I love it when you hear the song long before you feel the wind whispering through the trees;  the sweet song of the birds, and if you are very lucky, come upon a deer and her fawn.

We had a thunderstorm last night, the lighting was fast and the thunder furious.  The rains pelting down on the motor home make it seem much louder and fiercer than it actually was.  But this morning, everything is clean and fresh and the scent of the earth intoxicates me.

Enough waxing poetic for now.  See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.  Another chapter in the life of Erica and Scott Carson will be up tomorrow.  Have a wonderful day.

  1. Hi SunnyGirl,
Rain on a tin roof is my favorite, too. Enjoy your time in your mobile home. We found it difficult to spank while camping. No room!

    1. We usually visit the bedroom for "spanking" activities.

    1. So true, so glad I am able to enjoy the silence. There are many who are not.
