The Cork has Popped

and the champagne is bubbling over.
Well, I have gone and done it.  I took your suggestions,  went ahead, and submitted a couple of my stories to a publisher.  Guess what, you were right!!!!  They accepted them and I am now an official author.  I am so excited.  Ray is getting goose pimples.  I think he may be more excited than I am.

 Thank you all for your support.  I especially want to thank PK who got me started on this path. I found Cassie who led me to New Beginnings.  Fantasy Friday inspired me to give writing a chance.  It just proves you're never too old to learn new things.

    I am so excited for you! I'm glad you found Cassie and New Beginning long ago. You talented writing has helped Fantasy Friday many, many times. I guess this time me being pushy did help get you started, but boy did your talent keep it going!

      Oh, Ana. I am always in trouble. Haven't you figured that out by now? Actually I didn't tell anyone except Ray until it was a done deal, so don't feel left out. K.

      Truth be told it went very fast and when I first sent you the email about the "editing" prize I hadn't even submitted them. When you responded, I had already heard back from LSF and knew they were going to accept the stories.
