I have a question for you. It is much the same as one PK posted a couple of weeks ago prior to posting Ana's Cassie meets Kat's story here. When I write a lengthy story how would you like me to post? Would you prefer on consecutive days or wait a few days for the rest. I am never sure what works best for the readers. Let me know and I will do whatever gets the greatest response.
Waiting to hear from you. Until then see you later on Aimless Ramblings
Hi Sunny, hmm, I don't really mind either way - I know, I'm no help! Consecutive may be better for continuity though.

I love your stories! Consecutive days!!
ReplyDeleteCosecutive sounds great- LOVE your stories too. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love your stories....and I will totally leave it up to you. I will find my way back here regardless :D
ReplyDeleteI think it is up to you! I will read regardless my dear! The stories will engage me and I will come back as soon as I can. I do also like consecutive days because of the anticipation and excitement of the story!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit to enjoying the cliff hanger, just a little. But you could put instalments on milk cartons and I would still collect and read them, Sunny. :)

Consecutive days is enough of a cliff-hanger for me, but I am an erratic reader on blogs. I tend to get caught up in someone's blog, and others fall to the side for a bit, not because I don't like everybody I follow, I just can't read all of them every day.
ReplyDeleteI'll admit that sometimes, if I am tight on time, I don't read a story if it has "(Part I)" in the title. I'll wait until I see "(Part 2)." Rotten, huh?
Your readers will read no matter when you post the parts and pieces to a story. I say post them in the way most convenient for you.

Hey Sunny - I will come read whatever you write/whenever you post but if you are going to split a story up, I would prefer consecutive days.

Cat
You know i don't know the answer. But I think went it gets really long some people don't have time to read at the time they usually do their blog reading. But the next day is usually good. Cassie puts up her stories one every other day, or at least that's the plan.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
PK
I liked when you did the consecutive days, but I'm easy...
ReplyDeleteI like shorter and broken up. It gets tiring to read onscreen for that long, especially when it's not in a reader-friendly format.
ReplyDeleteHowever...it's your blog and your domain, so you get to decide. :D
Thanks, everbody for your input. It looks like consecutive days is the winner.
