Yes, it's nice to wake up to. The other night there was a thunderstorm and I loved watching the wind whip the waves and the lightening bolts over the water. Mother Nature sure knows how to put on a show.

It is pretty Katie. I'm an ocean girl myself having grown up going to the shore and all the beaches along the northeast coast. Did the west coast beaches too so I guess now I'll start working on the lakes.

The lake and the trees make you think it's cooler than the almost 100 degrees registering on the thermometer.
DeleteThere is NOTHING better than a lake in the summer time. I may be biased because I grew up on Lake Michigan, but lakes are 10 times better than the ocean, in my opinion :)
