The other day I posted what I thought was a joke. An anonymous comment pointed out that Russell Larson was a real person but the headstone was wrong. I looked up the URL he gave me and this is what I found.
RUSSELL LARSEN - 12/6/21 - 1/26/83 The tombstone really reads:
Two things I love most. Good Horses and Beautiful Women.
When I die I hope they tan this old hide of mind and make it
into a Ladies Riding Saddle so I can rest in peace between the
two things I love most.
Since this is posted on the Logan City, Utah website, I figure it must be true. He must have been quite a character.
Thank you anonymous.
See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.
Lol!! That funny. I also thought it was just a joke :)
ReplyDeleteHow funny that "anonymous" would know.
I don't know how he/she knew but glad they set me straight.
DeleteThanks Sunny and Anon, I love this! Yes, he must have been a character.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Roz
I'm sure of it.
DeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteThat is just so great a headstone! Thanks for the picture left in my head for today! lol.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're thinking of the horse and not the headstone.
DeleteWell now! :o)
