Seeing the destruction wreaked by the Mother Nature in Oklahoma, my heart and prayers go out to those who lost their homes and to those families who lost the lives of those precious to them. It's hard to imagine how you absorb those losses and move forward.
Today, severe storms are forecasted with possible hail and tornadic activity here in the Dallas Metroplex area. We've spent the morning battening down the hatches, removing flyable objects and placing cars in covered shelter. The motor home is at the mercy of Mother Nature as are we. Now we sit and wait.
Those of you who may be in these warning areas today, stay alert and take the precautions necessary to insure your safety.
See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.
My ham radio is on. I feel better listening to the weather net. This is why I got licensed. Real time updates from people on the ground.

Unfortunately, for those of us who live in the metroplex, worrying about tornadoes is our way of life. Its so sad to see all the destruction in OK. My heart goes out to those affected.

Sunny I know no where is completely safe, but I sure wish you would go to a hotel on the nights they are predicting really bad storms. The RV isn't going to give you as much protection as I want you to have.
ReplyDeleteAdding my prayers for your safety, Sunny! The photos of the devastation are heart breaking.
ReplyDeleteHope you stay safe. I remember growing up in Denver having to hunker down in the cellar when the tornados ripped through.
ReplyDeleteStay safe Sunnygirl. We even had some extreme weather here with tornado warnings. Rare issue in the spring. I hope there is a safe place you can go to if you know severe weather is coming your way. Today looks similar across the country.
