THURSDAY TICKLE

This is a joke and I laughed at the punchline as I am sure you will but so much of it is true.  In today's world there are so many people always looking for someone to blame for their own misfortunes.  I guess it is easier than to acknowledge that you may have screwed up and either change your attitude or your circumstances.  I realized that this TTWD  community is above the fray.  It is all about truth and accountability and we should be proud of that and give ourselves a pat on the back, or maybe a pat on the fanny would be more appropriate.  LOL.  The world would be a better place if everyone did and felt the same.

The Joke:

If a man cuts off his finger while slicing salami at work,
He blames the restaurant.

If you smoke three packs a day for 40 years and die of lung cancer,
Your family blames the tobacco company.

If your neighbor crashes into a tree while driving home drunk,
He blames the bartender.

If your children/grandchildren are brats without manners,
you blame television

If your friend is shot by a deranged madman,
 you blame the gun manufacturer

And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill the pilot at 35, 000 feet and the passengers kill him instead,
the mother of the crazed deceased blames the airline

I guess I have lived too long to understand the world as it is anymore

SO IF I DIE WHILE MY WRINKLED OLD ASS IS PARKED IN FRONT OF THIS COMPUTER

I WANT YOU ALL TO BLAME BILL GATES.

Have a great day everyone and see you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

  1. Sunnygirl, you sure you don't have a Mac? I'd rather blame Steve Jobs estate. They have more money and all their lawyers are busy sueing the rest of the world for crazy reasons. They would understand our reasoning that losing our Sunnygirl will cost them billions.

  2. Cute, but sadly with a hint of sadness, since accountability is fast disappearing.

    1. No, I think the wooden spoon is not to blame. However master is responsible for the pinches.

  4. We are a litigious society and one without, as Abby says a sense of accountability for anything. One of those funny because it strikes a little too close to the truth. :)

  5. All too true, Sunnygirl! I really, really hate it when people won't take any responsiblity for their own actions! What can you do, might as well laugh than cry! :)

    1. Yes, we laugh but as someone said we should be sad at the state of affairs.

  11. Just have others (as well as you have said)...sad that this is where we are in society today...blame and little if any responsiblity. But, on another note, hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by my blog today:)
