I can't stress enough that your vote is needed now. Our country is in need of intelligent leadership. Leadership that recognizes that words matter, that there is no need for a wall and thousands of troops on the border to stem the tide of 1000 impoverished people seeking a better life for themselves and their children, that climate change is real, that love triumphs over hate, that gun control is needed, that everyone deserves health care that actually covers their health needs without going into bankruptcy, and the list goes on.
VOTE
DONT SHIRK YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO LET THEIR VOICE BE HEARD.
Hi Sunny,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you post :)
I sincerely hope people get out there and vote and that common sense prevails!

YES, YES, YES!!!!! We voted early and I pray we can elect people with intelligence, integrity, and compassion.
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny!:) Rob and I are voting today. Our children have voted from near and far. We are hopeful that kindness, wisdom and decency will rise above the hate and the division. Fingers crossed! Many hugs,

We're leaving to vote in about 15 minutes! Love this encouragement! Thank you! Hugs! Windy
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny ... your northern neighbours also await the results. I hope it is a record breaking voter turnout kind of day.

I agree about citizen responsibility and have never understood why people with the right to vote choose not to. They simply don't see the value or the true privilege that it is.
ReplyDeletePosting a day late, it looks like the results are in. It wasn't a sweep, but at least it did halt the advance of some extreme candidates. Unfortunately we are still in the thick of this mess.
Best,
Enzo
