Tomorrow is BLACKOUT Day for me - no radio, no TV and maybe I'll even stay off the computer.
I don't want to acknowledge what is happening in Washington DC. I'll have the weekend to come to terms because our new guy wants the weekend off. Can you believe that?
Anyway, if anything happens that I should know about, email me on the off chance I've gone into withdrawal and need the internet fix. Okay.
Thanks and I'll see you later for more Aimless Ramblings
Leigh,
ReplyDeleteI do understand. Yes, I do.
Meredith
I know you do. Now it's wait and see and hope we were wrong.
DeleteTrouble is ....how do we black out the next 4 years....hugs abby
ReplyDeleteI'm with you abby. Keeping my fingers crossed.
DeleteLet's just hope we are pleasantly surprised. I heard somebody say something along the lines of "Let's hope the country's is in better shape at the end of his term rather than dreading what his presidency will bring". We really don't know his presidency will look like yet...let's be hopeful....
ReplyDeletePollyanna checking in!
Wouldn't that be wonderful. The country is in pretty good shape right now, or at least it was yesterday before noon.
DeleteI am with you on this one. The next 4 years are going to be painfully and dreadfully long.
ReplyDeleteTell me about it. Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised.
DeleteI hear you should have your TV on to the History channel or something like that to show you're watching - but not watching the circus. Hurts his rating somehow. Who knows. Think I'll spend the day writing or whatever Nick might have planned.
ReplyDeleteRay watched movies all day. I loved looking at the comparison pictures, it made my heart sing.
DeleteGood luck to you and everyone else in the USA. Although I think this is effecting the whole world.
ReplyDeleteThanks lindy, we've going to need it.
DeleteHi Sunny, I think many of us are in denial, we can only hope. Enjoy your day incognito.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Roz
Yes, the denial became a reality and WOW.
DeleteHi Sunny, I can't believe it is really happening, the world is bonkers.
ReplyDeletelove Jan, xx
THe world is bonkers and we have the head clown.
DeleteLet's be hopeful as it will affect us all.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Ronnie

We have to be hopeful, don't we?
DeleteI am with you. Have posted my own protest blog and now I am working with classical music on -- no TV. Deep breaths.
ReplyDeleteI'll be deep breathing for the next four years. Give me the address for your protest blog and I'll come visit.
DeleteYou and me both, sister. https://ericalscott.wordpress.com/2017/01/20/heil-to-the-cheeto/
DeleteI feel a bit different. I certainly didn't vote for him but I pray that everything will be okay.
ReplyDeleteI think we're all praying that everything will be okay. It will be what it is supposed to be but it doesn't mean we have to like it, whatever it is.
