Thanks Rosie. I worked hard on the decorations. That's not sarcasm either because I am technically challenged and it took a long time to get those snowflakes. :-) so I'm glad you liked them.
Well, I was going to say that it is off my TBR list and it is ... but only to 5% this morning before work. Given that I'm male, I look at the cover and feel envy for that lucky guy and my own desire to work at Whispering Pines with Starr.
I've read way too many books lately with men who are - at their best - jerks of the first water. Now, if your cowboy hero (who I've haven't met yet in the book) can learn from his mistakes, I'm going to really enjoy another of your westerns. I hope you will write a few books (more) set in the modern great plains and mountain west. Jon
This is WONDERFUL news Sunny!! :) Adding it to my list and I am going to read the one before this first. I need to get back on the reading path!
I am so happy for you! I love what you write. And I really do want to see if the man can work for a woman. There is good spanking ahead. I know it! :) Many hugs,
The premise, "can a man work for a woman," is a great one for this genre. There is a writer who tells her readers of BDSM / DD books something to the effect of: "hey gals, this is fiction. The romance and the HEA come much more quickly in fiction than in real life. Be cautious." Without revealing what happens in Starr-Crossed - and also without knowing how to do it myself - I think a HEA could occur with an event well short of your ending event, allowing for more development of the Boss/chief employee dynamic and how that might work in a DD >>> HoH context.
More 'ka-thunk' moments when goes gang agley for future Starr and Jude characters would be appreciated. Another way of saying this is: More twisting of plots, please..
It is easy to throw stones, much harder to build a stone fence. Thank you for building the fence. Here in New England we know the value of a well build fence. Jon
...and my TBR keeps growing :) Congratulations Sunny, awesome news!

I know, I have a real soft spot for them, ever since I was a little girl.
DeleteHi Sunny, I found this one yesterday, yummy cowboy. Just asking but is your Ray the cowboy type? just wondering....
ReplyDeletelove Jan,xx
He is yummy, isn't he. And no, Jan, Ray is not the cowboy type at all.
DeleteAlready have it! I love the cover - those strong, gentle hands.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover too. To me it shows his gentleness along with his strength.

I'll be interested to see what you have to say after you've finished the book.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on yet another book,

That's okay Han. Thanks for the congrats.
