I'm Still Here

I know I've been among the missing all week, but just wanted to touch base to thank you for the good wishes for my friend.  She is on the road to recovery after two surgeries to fix the problem.

Not that I picked it, but I couldn't have been away for a better time.  Temperatures in my area soared to 120 a couple of days in a row.  Here it was a mild 94.  HaHa.

Hopefully, I'll get in some time between now and Monday to write a new story.  If not, I'll pick one from the archives.

Until then I'll try to stay cool, hope you do too.

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

I like it hot but I don't think I'd like those temps.

    1. Thanks Ronnie. The heat does take some getting use to but then it's the house to the car to the store and return. No time outside.

  3. Glad she's on the mend. Come on aren't you dreaming just a little about that snow you say you hate so?

    1. We both are. I never dream about snow - I saw way too much of it in real life - no need to dream. A dip in the gulf maybe

    1. You're going to laugh at this, but it's a dry heat so you don't sweat all that much. lol

  8. Hi Sunny! :) I'm so glad that your friend is doing well. Soon you will be on your way back to Ray!

Sheesh! That is hotter than hot! Hope that Ray was able to stay cool! 94 for you? That's still a scorcher! That kind of heat is... unpleasant! I'm thinking that a nice cup of ice cream, in an air conditioned room might be a temporary fix. ;) Many hugs,

  9. You say you are not a good nurse, but you are a good friend. I think it is the "Sunny" treatment.

Hot here, too! I am working outside at 6:15 am and done by 8:00. At least it is good cold beer weather!

    Hugs From Ella
