Has anyone else been having trouble with commenting on Blogger lately? For the last four days it has been giving me fits.
It started the other day when I was trying to respond to comments - got halfway through and no amount of waiting and cursing would allow me to continue. Now, when commenting on other blogs, I get all through and instead of going through I get a message that it doesn't recognize a server, or the internet connection has been lost (not on my end).
I guess what I want to say is if you do not hear from me don't think I'm not trying. I'm very trying but am also reading.
So if you don't getting any comments from me, or get a response on a comment on my blog, blame blogger and pretend.
In short - yes - it claims internet problems. I'm pretty sure I've left comments on other blogs and when I go back, they've vanished. Pity blogger doesn't have a bottom, would quite like to spank it hard.
ReplyDeleteI still struggle with the darn captcha. Bane of my existence. Whenever I go to a Wordpress blog, I cheer because there is no captcha.

ReplyDeleteHaven't been having issues commenting, but posts seem to be disappearing at will and reappearing randomly.
I am more than happy to blame anything on Blogger. Perhaps it could take responsibility for my often improper use of punctuation too...Think that's pushing it a tad too far?
Yes, I have been noticing problems as well. However, since I do not know how to solve it. If it starts to act up when I am trying to make a comment I copy what I have written if it is more than a few words and then try again later and just paste...so I don't have to keep writing the same thing over and over. It is frustrating to say the least. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
ReplyDeletelucky for me i've had no issue here lately... but once in a while blogger acts up. just take a breather and wait for a day or so. it usually sorts itself out. have some coffee in the meantime. :)

ReplyDeleteI've had trouble commenting on WP sites with my Blogger/Google ID. It's not every time but it's definitely WP. It's completely frustrating!!

OMG I was so embarrassed cos I logged into my blog to show him what was happening and then left in quick time. I sent hubby in to pick it up. the chap says it is fixed but its

I've not had trouble with commenting but my posts have been hiding from me big time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is it just me or can others edit comments within the comment box? If I look back at the post or move the cursor the whole thing freezes and I have to start again.
Hey Sunny...Several times I have left comments and then go back and they're gone...am not even 'lucky' enough to get an error message...will just enter a comment, click the 'publish' button and poof -> gone! So now, I enter my comment, copy it, press the 'publish' button and watch.
ReplyDeleteAlso having lots of fun with blog posts not showing up in my reader then later appearing as if they have just been posted but when I go visit, sometimes they are days old!
Blogger definitely needs a spanking! :D

Oh come now, you know Blogger NEVER makes mistakes or messes up. You have to be doing something wrong. LOL! If only blogger could be spanked.

I'm not going to try to answer each comment individually because I don't want to get frustrated this early in this am. It's good to know it's not only me. I know they'll straighten it out eventually, I was complaining and wondering if it was just me.
