The Man in Her Life - Part 2

This can't be the last Monday in April already - it just started.  One third of 2015 almost gone.

We've been in Texas about a week and it has rained five of those seven days - enough April showers already.  I'm getting rust marks, but everything is green as can be.  Of course, that's whats not floating by - lots of puddles - the ducks and geese are very happy.  Those May flowers should be beautiful.

Your comments indicated you wanted a continuation of  The Man in Her Life, so here it is.

The thoughts she had on the way to the event, evaporated by the time the evening was over.  All those people fawning over her and telling her how wonderful she was, negated Michael’s earlier ministrations.  The after parties went on to the wee hours of the morning and after each celebratory drink at each successive party, her behavior deteriorated.  Even Michael’s warning looks every so often, or his hand resting on her bottom, didn’t work.  By the time the limo delivered them back to the hotel, she was in full actress mode.  Instead of going to their room, he took her straight to the garage parking lot.

“What are you doing?” she demanded of him.

“We’re going home,” he told her.

“But, I’m so tired.”

“Then close your eyes until we get home, but we are going home.”

“What about my things?”

“Your things are quite safe.  One phone call from the great Brenda Stuart to any one of her minions, will get everything packed up and sent to you pronto.”

“Oh Michael you are overreacting.”

“On the contrary, my sweet wife, you are the one who has overreached my boundaries tonight.  I will remind you of them when we reach the ranch.”

“Oh” she said and utzed around in the seat.
Driving along the interstate, traffic suddenly slowed and came to a complete halt.  The accident ahead looked to be a bad.  It must have happened recently because only a police cruiser was on site but Michael could hear the sirens in the background. Several more police cars arrived and started to divert traffic.  The officers were visiting each stopped vehicle to try to piece together the cause of the one car accident.  When they reached the Stewart’s car, the officer started to question Michael when he recognized Brenda.  Once he had taken Michael’s statement, he allowed them get out of line and directed them around the accident scene.

“I appreciate your help and will call if we need anything further.  I’m going to allow you to get on your way – if others become aware of Brenda Stewart here at the scene, I’m afraid it will only cause more chaos right now,” the officer told them.

“Thank you, officer,” and another officer escorted their car through the myriad of vehicles that now surrounded the scene.

“See, sometimes being famous works in our favor,” Brenda told him.

“It’s not the fame I take issue with Brenda. It does have its advantages, but know damn good and well I don’t give a hoot about the fame or the money.  You are my only concern and when you start believing and acting like Brenda Stewart, famous actress, it’s my job to rein you in.”

Brenda didn’t say another word.  He pulled up to the front door, got out of the car and came around to open her door and helped her out.

“Always the gentleman even when he’s about to spank me silly,” he heard her say.

He smirked and told her he would meet her inside.  “Of that I have no doubt,” she answered.

Michael parked the car in its usual spot and came in the back door.  He picked up the paddle plaque from its hook by the door and went to their bedroom.  She was in the bathroom removing her make-up when she saw him come into the room.

“Michael, do we have to do this tonight?  I’m so tired.”

“I understand if you want to wait til morning. I’m not a total bastard but I’m not likely to forget your behavior overnight either, if that’s what you’re expecting.”

“Thank you and I’m sorry.”

“You always are, after the factor, my dear.  Now get undressed and get into bed and we have a date in the morning.”  He kissed her and tucked her in before leaving the room. Too wound up to sleep yet, he walked outside to enjoy what was left of the darkness.  Already a twinge of dawn crept over the foothills obscuring the usual blanket of stars as he thought over the night’s events and what an interesting life they led.

                              ***************************************

Brenda woke and noticed that Michael wasn’t in bed, nor had he been.  She woke with a tremendous headache and realized she had forgotten to take some aspirin before going to bed.  She took two aspirin and creeped down the hall.  Michael was asleep on the couch in his office.  She threw an afghan over him and went back to bed.  The next thing she knew, Michael was sitting on the bed with a steaming cup of coffee in his hand.

“You probably need this,” he told her.

“You know I do.  Why didn’t you come to bed?”

“I walked outside for a while and could hear you snoring.  I decided I’d get more sleep on the couch.”

“I don’t snore,” she told him.

“Okay, you don’t snore, you just make loud noises.”  He reached over a gave her a kiss.

“How can you be so sweet one minute and so mean the next?”

“Maybe I should ask how you can be my sweet wife one minute and Brenda Stewart, the bitch actress the next.”

“You know I don’t mean it, I get caught up in the moment.”

“As usual, I gave you plenty of warnings.  You ignored them all.  Drink up your coffee, go wash the sleep out of your eyes and when you’re finished, go stand in your corner and think about how different things could have been this morning.”

“Shit, I hate standing in the corner.”

“I know you do.  I hate how you acted and you can think about how you disrespected me and others while you’re standing there.”

She stomped off and he took her cup back to the kitchen.  When he returned to the bedroom she was standing in the corner.  He could see the defiance but the longer he left her there, the more she would soften.  When she finally let go, the tears would start to flow and they could get on with the rest of her reminder.  Until then, he made himself busy doing other things.

‘Lord, I hate standing in the corner.  It makes me feel like such a child.  Why do I put up with this?  The hell with him’ she turned around and he gave her the stare.
“Do I have to come over there, or are you going to turn back?” he asked her.  He watched her head swivel back into the corner.

‘Damn him, why can’t he leave.  Better yet, why can’t he just spank me and get this over with.  He’s going to spank me anyway, why does he make me go through this humiliation. Whoever heard of a grown woman standing in the corner?’ She fumed.

He watched her shifting from leg to leg.  “Stand up straight and put your hands on your head,” he told her.  “You’re still a little too defiant.”

She wanted to tell him to go screw himself, but knew that would only result in not only more corner time but he would think of some other chastisement as well.  “I want this over,” she said to herself.  She began to think over the events of the night before and knew just when it started to turn bad.  He asked her to slow down on the champagne, it was a long night and she turned and walked away from him.  It was all downhill after that.  She was only glad that he was a gentleman and didn’t go all neandrathal on her right then and there.  He merely gave her warning looks and patted her behind which she continued to ignore. ‘I deserve what I have coming to me. He loves me to pieces and always has my best interests at heart. He puts up with a lot of crap due to my career; the least I can do is respect his wishes.  I’m the luckiest girl alive to have him as my husband.’

Michael watched her body language and knew the tears would start falling at any moment.  He walked over to her, pulled down her arms and rubbed her shoulders.  He turned her around and hugged her.

“I’m so sorry, Michael.  I love you.”

“I know, baby, I know.”  He led her over to the bed, sat down and pulled her across his lap.

“Are you ready?” He asked as he placed his hand across her bare behind.  It never ceased to amaze him that this one little act could stir him so quickly.  Her submission humbled him – here she was a world famous actress who could have anybody and anything she wanted in the world and she not only chose him; but allowed him to take her over his knee and punish her when he thought it necessary. She wiggled around and brought him back to reality.  He smacked her right in the center of her beautiful white bottom, he heard her whoosh of breath and began to spank her as she deserved.  Her now pink globes jiggled with each slap of his hand.

“Michael, I’m so sorry. Can this be over?”

“Not yet, baby.  I don’t want to be back here anytime soon.”  He stopped spanking long enough to pick up the paddle.  “This is where you always turn back into Brenda Stewart my wife – as it says on the paddle.  It is the perfect attitude adjuster.”  He began laying into her ass and the color quickly changed from pink to red.  When he achieved what he considered the perfect shade of red, he put down the paddle.  Hearing her sigh, his hand  finished the spanking  with five hard smacks on each cheek, and ten smacks to her sit spots.   Brenda flailed about and he knew she would feel his love each time she sat for an hour or so. Holding her in place, his hand resting on her punished bottom, he bent his head kissed each reddened cheek.

“It’s over baby.”  Brenda stirred, stood up and sat on his lap, careful not to have her tush rest on his thighs.  She nestled into his shoulder and whispered.  “Thank you for loving me, I just wish you didn’t love me so much sometimes.”

“Is that so?” he responded and gave her a kiss she felt down to her toes, her punished bottom aside.

Happy Friday

Happy Friday Everyone

Spent yesterday running errands all over town.  It was a perfect day for it because it was overcast and I really got a lot done.  We're still at the lake and will be here until next Thursday.  We've been getting a lot of rain and I wish I could send some to my daughter's neck of the woods, they could sure use it.  Everything is really green though and the blue bonnets are abundant.

We had a good time in Arizona and made the decision that is where we're going to settle.  That decision has been made and changed several times but I think it's going to stick this time.  We have many friends there, our daughter and grandkids aren't that far away and we'll just stay indoors in the summer.  No seriously, we could always travel then.

Our trip to Texas was uneventful - beautiful weather all three days, just a little windy. Thank you everyone for your good wishes in sending us off - they worked. We love it here too and everything is familiar - but there's winter and the last couple have been a little colder and snowier than ususal.  I hate to think that may be the new norm,

I guess that's about it for now.  So see you later for more Aimless Ramblings.

All in One Package

We're either in Texas or very close.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Hope you enjoy the story.
(REVISED:  We're here at the lake.  Beautiful sunrise this morning - a little chilly though.)

Loaded down with boxes and packages, she was successfully juggling them until bumping into somebody.  The next thing she knew, she found herself on her butt, lying on the sidewalk, with her packages all around her.

A tanned hand with long fingers and perfectly manicured nails extended to assist her in getting up.  She took the hand as her eyes began at leather loafers and traveled up miles of khaki pants to an oxford cloth button down shirt under a blue blazer.  Reaching his face, she almost fell back down.  He was the most gorgeous male specimen she had ever seen.

Looking at his tanned face, with impeccably cut chestnut brown hair, clear blue eyes, chiseled chin and full lips, gave her a moment’s pause.  “Did I hit my head and this is all a dream, if it is, may I never wake up.”

From somewhere she thought she heard voice.

“Are you hurt?” The well-modulated voice matched the rest of the vision.

“No, I don’t think so.”

“No, or you don’t know.”

Focusing proved difficult and she continued to stare at this beautiful man.

He repeated in a sterner tone, “no, or you don’t know.”

“I had a soft landing, so to speak. I can’t imagine anything else being hurt. My parcels may not have been as lucky.” She smiled and he treated her to an ear to ear smile showing unbelievably white teeth, as perfect as the rest of him.

“Thank you and I’m sorry for bumping into to you,” she told him.  “I’m Denise McMillan.”  She still hadn’t let go of his hand, and noticed he wasn’t wearing any rings but a shiny gold bracelet showed beneath the sleeve of his blazer.  “Surely if he is wearing a bracelet, he would wear a wedding ring if, wouldn’t he?

Not a problem." She finally let go of his hand and he started to collect the packages.

“You’re carrying way too many.  Can I help you get where you’re going so you don’t have any more accidents?  It’s not safe being so bogged down you don’t have a free hand, as well as not being able to see around all the parcels.”

“I’m on my way back to work.  I guess I got a little carried away on my shopping excursion.  So many bargains today.”

“Where do you work?”

“Over there, at Bennington and Brooks.” She pointed to a building across the street. I’m a Paralegal.”

“You were going to cross the street without a clear vision of traffic.  You need a lesson in safety.  If I were your husband, I would teach you that lesson.”

She blushed.  “I’m not married but I don’t know what you mean.”

“Just as well, Ms. McMillan.”  All the packages were either in his hand or hers and they waited for the light before crossing.  Thinking he would leave her at the building, he surprised her by asking if she parked in the garage.

She answered yes and he walked to the parking spot along with her.  She deposited the packages in the trunk and once again apologized and thanked him for his assistance.

“You’re welcome, Ms. McMillan.  I hope the next time you get “carried away” you give a thought to your safety.”

He walked away and she realized he never even told her his name.

                                        *******************************

Denise walked the same route every day for the next two weeks, hoping to bump into Lancelot once more.  Since her rescuer never gave her his name, she named him Lancelot. He had certainly been her knight in shining armor.

Imagine her surprise when, one month later, she walked into a deposition hearing at her office and saw Lancelot sitting at the conference table.  He nodded to her and smiled as Mr. Wilkins introduced everyone.  She wasn’t sure if he remembered her or if he was only being cordial.  “At least now I know his name,” she thought to herself.

When the deposition concluded, the participants filed out of the conference room, Mr. Dillon Montgomery among them.

“Hello, Ms. McMillan.  Any shopping expeditions lately?” he asked.  “So he does remember me.”

“Not lately.” Her boss, Mr. Wilkins heard the exchange and asked if they knew each other.

"No, I accidently bumped into Lancelot, I mean Mr. Montgomery and spilled packages everywhere.  He graciously helped me retrieve them and carried them to my car.” When Dillon heard the word Lancelot, there was a slight upward curve of his lips.

“That’s fine then, because I didn’t want anyone being able to point fingers and claim ‘conflict of interest.’

A couple of months later, a small bouquet of flowers, along with a card, were sitting on her desk when she returned from lunch.

   Ms. McMillan,

Now that the case is settled, I would like to invite you to have dinner with me on
Thursday evening.  My white horse and I will be waiting by the elevators at 6:00 PM,
if you decide to accept my invitation.

                                                                               Lancelot

Wow, not only is he beyond gorgeous with impeccable manners, but he has a great sense. of humor too.  There has to be something wrong with him - no one is that perfect.

Thursday couldn’t come soon enough.  The day seemed to drag on endlessly until her boss landed a large assignment on her desk.  So wrapped up in the project,  she lost track of time.  Someone yelled goodnight and when she looked up it was 5:55.  "Damn," she thought to herself, "I wanted to freshen up a bit.  Well, the least I can do is brush my teeth and put on some fresh lipstick.  So what if I’m a few minutes late. "

It was 6:10 when the elevator doors opened and she saw him standing there.  The first thing he did was look at his watch.  She noticed a touch of irritation on his face, but it quickly disappeared.

“Good evening, Ms. McMillan.”

“Good evening, Sir.  Where’s the horse?”

He looked perplexed for a moment and then gave her one of those ear to ear smiles.

“I’m sorry to have kept you waiting but I lost track of time.”

“You’re forgiven this time, so long as it doesn’t happen again.”

“Why thank you kind Sir, for your leniency.” He smiled, but it wasn’t the same kind of smile.

He laced her arm in his and moved toward his car, which happened to be a white Mercedes E-Class (E for expensive) convertible.

“What, no horse?” She asked.

“402 horses,” he replied.

Now she was the one looking perplexed.  “402 horsepower,” he replied.

They went to one of the nicer waterfront restaurants.  He was a good conversationalist in addition to all his other attributes and the evening was over all too soon.  When the bill came, she reached into her purse and handed over her credit card.

“What’s this?” he asked.

“For my half of the bill.”

“Put that away.  I’m quite sure Lancelot never required any of his ladies to split the bill.”

“This is a different time.”

“May be so, but if the men you’re dating are asking you to pay for your half, you’re dating the wrong kind of men.  If I invite you anywhere, I pay.  Is that understood?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Why do you keep calling me sir?  It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s unusual in most circumstances.”

“I’m teasing you, Sir Lancelot.”

“And here I thought you were being submissive.”

“I can be.”

“I’m glad to hear that.  We’ll have to test your submissiveness one of these days.”

“Does that mean we’ll be seeing each other again?”

He smiled at her but didn’t give an answer.  He drove her back to the parking garage to pick up her car and then followed her home.  He gave her a chaste kiss at the door.  He didn’t set up another date even though she was sure they made a connection. ‘Oh well, it was nice being the object of his affection, if only for one night.’

The next day another bouquet of flowers arrived, along with another card.

Dear Ms. McMillan

Thank you for a lovely evening.  I would like to see you again on Friday night?  I’ll be by to pick you up at your house at 7:00.  Don’t keep me waiting or else.

                                                                                  Sir Lancelot

She thought it was pretty arrogant of him to expect her to be available to him just because of his say so. What the hell did he mean by ‘or else’?  She would have a thing or two to tell Sir Lancelot on Friday.

Friday arrived and her doorbell rang promptly at 7:00 pm.  She went to the door, let him and told him she’d be ready in a jiff. .

“There’s a bottle of wine on the counter along with the corkscrew and a couple of glasses. Open it please and pour us a glass, will you, Sir?”  She was playing this to the hilt.

Dillon Montgomery had no intention of opening the bottle of wine.  He sat down and patiently waited for Denise.  When she came out of the bedroom, he noted on his stop watch she was twelve minutes late.

“You didn’t open the wine.”

“No, I didn’t.  Do you remember me telling you I would pick you up promptly at seven and to be ready or else.”

“Yes, what’s with this ‘or else’ business.”

“I’ll tell you what’s with this ‘or else’ business.  Or else is you’re going to get a spanking for making me wait.  This is twice and I warned you.”

“You’ve got to be kidding?” She said to him even if the bravado was all show.  The word spanking literally opened a faucet in her nether regions.  She had always secretly hoped to meet a man that spanked.  To have this gorgeous man be a spanker too.  She couldn’t believe her luck.

“I assure you, I am not kidding.  This is me.  I think it’s you too unless I’ve missed my guess. If it’s not, then after tonight we can go our separate ways because it is in my DNA and I can’t imagine not disciplining naughty or disrespectful behavior.”

“Being late is not disrespectful.”

“Of course, it is.  I told you 7:00 and you came out at 7:12. That’s twelve minutes of my time wasted waiting for you.  Now come here.”

She looked at him as if he had two heads, but she went to him.  He pulled her over his lap and told her she would be getting twelve spanks – one for each minute she kept him waiting.  He lectured her on the importance of being on time, his hands caressing her bottom the entire time he lectured.  Her libido rose with each caress.  He stopped the caressing, smoothed out the sundress stretched across her bottom, when she felt the first crack of his hand.

“Ouch” she yelled at him.

“Oh settle down, I’m surprised you can even feel anything what with your panties and your dress muffling the effect.”

“Well, I can and if you doubt it, maybe I should spank you and see what you think?”

He chuckled. “Like that’s ever going to happen. Now hush and take your licks.”  He brought down his hand again and it hurt even more than the first one.  Before she even had a moment to process the pain, he spanked her four more times and she was sure her bottom was on fire.

“We’re halfway there girl.  You’re not going to make me wait again, are you?”

Apparently, he didn’t expect an answer and she was glad because she didn’t have one to give.  She was too busy holding her breath and trying not to cry.  He delivered four more licks in rapid succession.

“The next two are going to be the hardest of all.  Are you ready?”

She kicked her legs.  “Stop that now.  No kicking.”  She was quite sure he was spanking with something other than his hand because when the last two licks landed on her sit spots she almost jumped out of her skin.  They hurt like the dickens.

“There, we’re finished.  You can get up now.  We have to leave or we will miss our dinner reservations.  The show starts at 9:00.”

“Yes, Sir,” she told him as he squired her out the door - his hand resting on her burning bottom.

The Man in Her Life

I've been absent from this blog since last Sunday.  Shame on me but I've been trying to get a new book finished and edited.  It's been submitted and we shall see.  I've also, been working on cleaning up a few shorter stories for publication.

This story is a real quickie, and I have to come up with another for next week before we head out this weekend.  We're leaving Arizona for our usual trek to Texas.  It's hard to believe we've been here six months - it seems like more than two.  As I've mentioned before, I like the places we travel to and from, just not the in between parts.

This trip means another trip is closer too and I'm looking forward to that.  I'm meeting PK again this June and looking forward to it.  We've planned a seaside trip this time, I can't wait.

Here's today's story.

Brenda and Michael Stewart were not your typical couple.  They were high school sweethearts born and raised in the Midwest, who married and moved west so Brenda could pursue her dream of becoming an actress.  An idea shared by many young girls only to have their hearts broken and their dreams shattered by the realities of life when they arrived in Hollywood.  It wasn’t just Hollywood, most young naïve girls weren’t prepared for life in Los Angeles or any big city, for that matter.

The difference for Brenda though, was that Michael was by her side.  He watched over and fought for her every step on her way to the career she desired.  He worked hard to make sure she took the best acting classes, had the best portfolio, hired the best agent they could afford and still it took an act of fate to got her noticed.  It was almost like one of the fairy tale Hollywood stories you read about in fan magazines.  Brenda happened to be walking in the park when she spied a gal sitting on a bench crying her eyes out.  Thinking she was a little young to be out by herself, Brenda walked over to befriend her.  The girl came to the park with her nanny and played with a group of friends.  When they left, she went back to the bench where she always met her nanny and she was gone.  Her backpack was still there, but no Marissa.  Brenda immediately called 911 and waited while help arrived. The police took her statement and she went on with her walk.

Two days later, her doorbell rang and she opened the door to Peter Stafford, one of her favorite actors.  He was the father of the girl she rescued.  Able to get her name and address from the police report (obviously after he pulled a few strings) he wanted to thank her in person for saving his little girl.  Brenda, almost tongue-tied, invited him in for a cup of coffee and before he left she had a small speaking part in his next film. That one small part enabled her to get her Screen Actors Guild card, a major stepping stone in any future work.

After that, she auditioned for and received roles in small films until a breakout role in a major motion picture.  The part, although a minor character, showcased her talents and got her noticed by an up and coming director.  He was looking for a fresh-face to star in his next picture and he arranged an audition with Brenda Stewart.  The rest, as they say, is history.

Changing Tides earned Brenda Stewart an Academy Award Nomination along with several other awards and she and Michael were in the money.  Their lives changed considerably and everyone remarked how well Brenda had taken her career and success in stride.  Michael saw to that.  Any time she exhibited any outward traits of stardom, to him or others, he reminded her of who she was and who was in charge.

Brenda’s agent and financial advisor suggested they buy a place in town.  Brenda could have been swayed but Michael remained adamant they live far from that lifestyle. He wanted them to remain as normal as possible and he told her it would be far too difficult to do if they remained in Beverly Hills, or Malibu or any of the other places suggested to them.  Instead, they used the funds to purchase a tract of land far out in the San Fernando Valley away from the hoopla of the film industry.

She had been reading and believing a little too much of her publicity in the last couple of days and Michael had been warning her to watch her manner.  He wasn’t one of her flunkies, (as he referred to those who had been hired by the studio to cater to her every whim) and if she kept it up she would wind up over his knee.

It wasn’t anything new to either of them.  Michael had spanked Brenda since they were in high school and her stardom didn’t mean a thing to him.  Keeping their marriage real was all that mattered to him.  So if she got too far away, he would rein her back in with a trip over his knee.  He found that a good hard spanking would keep his Brenda in tow for a week or so.

Shooting a picture always brought out the worst in her.  In addition to the stress, she had someone doing everything for her - a word from her and five people jumped.  Sometimes she carried that over to home and Michael would have none of it.  For their anniversary, he made a plaque, shaped like a paddle, that hung by the door they used to enter the house. It read

Brenda Stewart, wife of Michael Stewart lives here.
Brenda Stewart, the actor, does not.
Attitudes checked here.

She laughed when he gave it to her, but it reminded her of his expectations and what she could expect if she acted out.  Several times lately, the plaque had been removed from its hook and applied to her bottom.

The current award season brought more hoopla than usual because of Brenda’s  nominations for  awards.  There was a constant stream of people out to their house for fittings, publicity photos, and on and on.  Michael finally had enough and put his foot down.  She was not getting enough rest, her nerves were frayed and she was being a class A bitch.

“No more, we’ll get a hotel room in town for a few days.  We’ll get done what needs to be done and then that’s it.  We’re finished and we come back home.  I don’t want any more people traipsing in our lives at home.”

“But, Michael, it’s not that easy.”

“Yes it is.  If you can’t say no, then I’ll do it for you.  I’ve been taking care of you for half your life and this is me taking care of you.”  He took her in his arms and gave her a big hug and a swat on her backside.

“Now are you going to tell your people, or should I?”  Brenda said she’d handle it – she knew how he’d handle it.  She kept dragging her feet because she never liked to act the part of temperamental star making demands on others.  They had a huge argument when Michael came in from work and found the house filled with people and equipment.

“What’s this?  He demanded.

“This had to be done today and they wanted to do the shoot here in my home. I couldn’t turn them down.  I promise this will be the last of it.”

She watched him swallow his anger and walk away.  She hoped the shoot didn’t take much longer and when the photographer wanted a couple of shots of her and Michael together, she told them she didn’t think it was a good idea.  The shoot was finally over and they packed up the equipment and left.  Michael heard the cars leaving, went to the kitchen, removed the plaque and was waiting for her in their bedroom.  He knew she would want to take a shower and before she did, he planned to remind her of their conversation.

Brenda had no doubt of what awaited her so she wasn’t surprised to find Michael sitting in the recliner waiting for her.  He had placed the straight back desk chair in the middle of the room and the plaque was sitting on the bed.

“I’m sorry Michael, I couldn’t say no when they called.”

“I don’t want an explanation.”  He moved to the desk chair and patted his lap. “I want your bottom bared and over my knee now.”

“But Michael.”

“The count begins now.  One, two” and  he watched her begin to slide down her panties and slacks.  She shuffled over to him, her garments around her ankles the way he like them.  He pulled her over his lap and adjusted her so that he bottom was raised high over his knee.  He began slapping her bottom immediately.  He had large hands that were calloused from working and they were hard as steel.  He spanked each cheek a half dozen times and stopped.

He began lecturing.  “I don’t care how big a star you become, you’re still my wife and I expect you to respect my home and my wishes.”  He resumed the spanking and this time with the paddle that spelled out his expectations and impressed them upon her backside. When he finished paddling, her bottom was throbbing. She hurt but her heart hurt more because she knew how much Michael loved her and how hard he worked to give her what she wanted.   He stood her up and pushed her to the corner.  “Stand here and think what brought about this spanking.”

Fifteen minutes later, he came to her, turned her around and took her in his arms.  She told him how much she loved him and appreciated all he had done for her.  “I’d do anything for you baby, I only ask that you keep a piece of you for just me.  I feel that way about our home – I want it to be only our home.  Okay.”

                                  **********************************

Brenda had already taken home two of the awards for which she had been nominated.  The biggest one was yet to come and she was a bundle of nerves.  On the day of the event, the car was set to pick her up at 11:00 am and deliver her to the hotel suite they had booked.  There had to be time for her to have her hair and make-up done before the dresser arrived at 2:00.  Michael would meet her at the hotel and they would be ready for limo pick-up at 4:00.  That morning she asked Michael if he would spank her.  She told him she needed the stress relief if she was going to make it through the day.  He was only too happy to oblige, so over his lap she went.  She loved these spankings – sure they hurt but the hurt felt so good.  Michael loved these kinds of spankings too and he always made sure to deliver enough sting to leave her with a smarting bottom and a smile on her face.  Today was no exception.

On the way into the city, she thought about her morning .  Whether she won tonight or not she knew she had already won – she had Michael and he was the only man she needed to clutch in her hands and live in her house.

I plan to get in another post or two before next week.  That's my Aimless Ramblings for today.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

I was a lovely Easter weekend here, how about where you were.  We spent a quiet one together.  We've been quite busy over the last two weeks and the next two look like more of the same, so we opted to stay home with  no company.  Funny, but when we talked to our daughter, she was doing the same.  Guess it runs in the family.

Wilson and Wilson were the only law firm in Scottsville.  Benjamin P. Wilson Sr. came to Scottsville straight out of law school and clerked for Judge Henderson.  When Henderson stepped down and opened his law firm, he took on Ben Sr.  That was twenty-five years ago and Judge Henderson had passed on and now Ben Sr. was semi-retired and Ben Jr. took on the majority of cases that came their way.

Benjy, as his fiancée Penny called him, was handling a particularly difficult case and had been tied up for weeks.  Penny, a spoiled brat if there ever was one, didn’t like being pushed aside for work and was complaining to her future mother-in-law at a ladies’ luncheon that lately Benjy has treated her as badly as Ben Sr. treated Livvy.

Ben Sr. was a bit of a curmudgeon to the rest of the world but behind closed doors was another matter.  No one understood how Livvy stayed married to him all those years.  Sometimes, Livvy didn’t know either because he frustrated the hell out of her, but underneath his gruff exterior, he had a heart of gold.  She didn’t mind that he had some really old-fashioned ideas, and that he would take her over his knee if she got out of line or displeased him in some way.  Hell, sometimes he didn’t even have an excuse other than it pleased him and it didn't bother her a bit.  He also provided her with a fine house, clothing and jewelry most women drooled over, vacations in the best places and great sex. Most important of all, he loved her to distraction and would never so much as think of looking at another woman.  When Ben Jr. fiancée said she hoped he didn’t turn out like his father, Livvy was well, how to say it, livid.

“You would do well to take back that statement, Penny.  Ben Jr. could learn a thing or two from his father when it comes to how to handle a woman.”  Penny was shocked.  How can that be?

Penny quickly apologized.  She couldn’t believe Livvy was standing up for Ben Sr; he scared the bejeesus out of her and always seemed to be grousing over something. There were times even Benjy admitted he didn’t know how his mother stood it all these years.  Ben Sr. was hard on Ben Jr., it was the only way he knew how to be. It didn’t mean he didn’t love him, but he wanted what was best for him and wanted him to be strong enough to stand up to what the world would dish out. That was how he was raised and so that was how he raised Ben Jr.. He left the molly coddling to Livvy – that was her strong suit.  He was proud of the man Ben Jr. had become; he was a good lawyer and a fine man. If he had one bugaboo about his son, it was Penelope (Penny) Dodge Miller.  The only child of Amy Dodge and Forrest Miller, she was spoiled and pampered to distraction. Born to them late in life, they indulged her every whim and now, although fully grown and supposedly an adult, she still acted as a bratty ten-year-old.  What she needed was a damn good spanking, actually more than one and probably regularly.   He wished there was a way he could mentally transmit that information to Ben Jr.

When Livvy and Ben were in bed that night, Livvy told him about Penny’s statement. He shook his head and asked Livvy if she could somehow convince Ben Jr. that he was making a mistake to marry Penny, at least until she grew up a little.

“How could I do that.  You know how headstrong he is, he takes after his father.  He loves her and doesn’t see how immature she is.  Maybe once she gets away from her parents things will be different.”

“You know they won’t.  Ben will give her anything she wants.”

“Isn’t that what you do with me, give me anything I want.”

“Yes, but sometimes if you want too much, I give you something you don’t want. That’s what I want you to communicate to our son.”

“I can’t tell him to spank her.”

“No, I suppose you can’t, but it would be good for him if you could.”  He snuggled up to her and kissed her goodnight.

                           ***************************************

For days afterward, Livvy continued to think about the conversation she and her husband had about Penny and Ben Jr.  She thought about books she could suggest, or movies and there wasn’t anything she could come up with that she thought would even get Ben Jr. thinking in that direction.  They were coming to dinner the following Friday, and maybe she could think of something by then.

She need not have worried.  When Ben arrived for dinner, he was solo.  Naturally, Livvy asked Penny’s whereabouts.

“She’s not coming.  Something happened this week, and we’re not together anymore.”

“Even though I’m dying to know, I’m not going to ask any questions.”

“Let me get a drink, and I’ll tell you about it.  I have some questions for you and dad anyway.”

He fixed himself a drink.  He walked to the kitchen and took out a chair.  Livvy was making a salad, and his dad was getting ready to light the barbecue.

“I heard you tell your mother you and Penny aren’t together anymore.  I don’t think that’s such a terrible thing.  She was nothing but a spoiled little girl masquerading as an adult.”

“Why don’t you tell me what you really think, Dad?”  He chuckled and Ben Sr. joined him in the joke.

“I did not mean to let all that fly out like that.  But, the truth wins out every time, doesn’t it?  So any chance of a reconciliation?”

“It’s totally up to her.  However, if we get back together, we will be on a level playing field, and I won’t be dancing to her tune anymore.”

“Truth be told, son, it’s better if you’re on the pitcher’s mound, and she is on the level field.”

“What does that mean?”

“Well, the pitcher’s mound is slightly higher than the rest of the field.  In any relationship, someone has to be the leader and someone the follower.  Equal playing fields lead to impasse and discord if both parties don’t agree.  Someone has to have the final say.”

“You’re right.  I’ll keep that in mind if she ever comes to her senses.”

“So are you going to tell us what happened?”

“This is a little embarrassing for both of us, but…you know Penny can be a little demanding.  The Brinker case has me putting in some horrendous hours to get ready for the trial date.  Last Tuesday, Penny and I were supposed to have dinner with her parents. We planned for her to meet me at the office and go in one car.  When she got to the office, I was on the phone with Jess Brinker wrapping up some last-minute details.  Penny was upset that I wasn’t ready and kept looking at her watch and then me.  When the phone conversation continued, I excused myself for a moment, put my hand over the phone and told her to go on without me, that I would catch up later.  She became apoplectic and started carrying on that work meant than her and in her rage disconnected the call.

It was the end of a very long day, and I had it.  I grabbed her, pulled her down across my lap and spanked her bottom with the ruler that was sitting on my desk.  I don’t know what came over me, but I ignored her pleas and just kept wailing away.  I think maybe it was for all the times I wanted to spank her, but stayed my hand.  She was carrying on something fierce when my assistant walked in the door to see if anything was wrong.  Needless to say, I stopped spanking Penny but not before Jane had an eyeful.  Penny jumped up, took off her ring and threw it at me and ran out the door.  I haven’t heard from her since.  For all I know, I may need to hire you to defend me, Dad.  Would that be a conflict of interest?   Anyway, that’s the story.”

Livvy and Ben Sr. shared a look but didn’t say a word until Ben Jr. asked their opinion. Ben Sr. spoke first.  “Son, I think you have exhibited great restraint in not paddling her bottom long before this.  Something was bound to happen eventually.  Forrest and Amy have been much too indulgent.  Maybe this will teach her a lesson and if she doesn’t come back to you, then you will be better off in the long run.  That may sound harsh but better now than later.”

“I have to tell you, I agree.  It was bound to happen.  What do you think mom?”

“I agree with your dad.”  She didn’t want to say too much and hoped he didn’t ask any more questions.

                                        **************************

They were ready to sit down to dinner, when the doorbell rang.  Ben Sr. answered and was shocked to see Penny standing there.

“Good Evening, Ben.  Am I too late?”

Ben must have had a perplexed look on his face.  “I believe Benjy and I were invited to dinner tonight.  Was I wrong?”

See you later for more Aimless Ramblings.
